Food was wonderful, service by the waiters above average but handling by one of the restaurant management was disgraceful. He questioned the red wine I chose and then in a loud voice heard by our table and other tables around asked 'How much do you wish to pay for a bottle of wine?' This having already known the price of the wine I had ordered, which I may add was at the top end of the prices in the Wine List. He then brought the white wine with a wine bucket with no ice in it. To cap everything, when I asked for salt and pepper I was arrogently told the chef did not think any salt or pepper was required for the food he had prepared. They eventually brought cruets that were used for breakfast. Pity about this one manager - the food was excellent and the Operations Manager did apologise and the rest of the staff were above average.
