“Go on Saturday”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 November 2013

This is such a fun place. We went during the week for to eat at the Pot Luck Club (which is excellent) and unfortunately, the shops close by 4pm. We went on Saturday and it was wonderful. The back area is just a huge food/fresh produce market, and the front area is clothes/funiture etc shops. The vibe was exellent. I recommend you take a cab there and there are plenty of cabs that are standing around that you can use on the return journey.

A short taxi ride out of Cape Town to an old factory which has been turned into a conclave of shops selling artisan goods & unusual gifts, African products, furniture. Quite a few restaurants.Worth a visit.

“The Pot Luck Club - Wow !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 November 2013

At the top floor of the Old Biscuit Warehouse is an amazing place to eat, very basic look to tables with an open kitchen, the food was incredible, each dish is like a Tappas, but what different tastes, a must if you can get a seat.

“Its a vibe!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 November 2013

The Neighbour Goods market on a Saturday is really lovely, there's is a great variety of food choices for all palates to eat right there while you're browsing the wares of local designers or fresh goods to take home! The parking is a bit of a problem so I would recommend public transport and be prepared for this places popularity to be very apparent with the the numbers of visitors but it is definitely something to go check out.

“Go on an empty stomach”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 20 November 2013

To appreciate this culinary delight you must go on an empty stomach. The Old Biscuit Mill is a must see experience if you go to Cape Town. It is set in the old port district which is amazing in itself. The market has many stalls selling such homemade delights as artisan pesto, liqueurs in chocolate cups, freshly pressed passion fruit juice plus every type of lunch time snacks that you can imagine. I ate a variance of Eggs Benedict on bubble and squeak pancakes with smoked salmon - exquisite! The stalls are set around the side, then every one sits at communal trestle tables in the middle. The centre also has some excellent craft shops on the site. A must for all visitors to Cape town. The market is only open on a Saturday morning mores the pity.
