A city gem! A warm, inviting and truly authentic hotel. This small boutique hotel is filled with a range of antique furniture and vintage ornaments. Rooms are stately and unique, as well as comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Not to mention a great location on the edge of cultural Bo Kaap. Perfect for those wanting to explore the inner city and its surrounds. A wonderful antidote to the sterile chain hotels that abound. Don't think twice!

We recently spent a night in this lovely hotel and what an experience. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the four poster bed was amazing, bathrooms are spacious and surprisingly modern. The staff are friendly, accommodating and will see to your every need. Breakfast was delicious and the location is very central for exploring the City. All in all a memorable night away, I can thoroughly recommend this unique hotel, try it.....you won't be disappointed.

We booked for 3 nights and extended our stay because we just didn't want to leave....
It is like staying in a museum:every piece of furniture, every item is a museum piece. The rooms are big and antique, the bathroom very modern and luxury (warm towels& great shower). The antique bed had a good modern mattress. We had also use of the lounge and dining room as much as we wanted and felt so much at home. We could use the kitchen & fridge for our convenience. The location is outstanding walking and driving distance from many tourist attractions. The service was superb and especially Noba,Adele,John and Princess, who catered to all our needs, always with a smile and a friendly word. There was a slight plumbing problem in our bathroom which caused sometimes a smell but was taken care off immediately. We love to come back and stay again at this lovely place.

We had an absolute wonderful two-day stay at the Dutch Manor in Cape Town. The staff is a friendly bunch and goes the extra mile to help, serve and please! The interior of the hotel is breathtaking, especially if you like history. We had excellent breakfasts and an outstanding 3-course dinner, one not easily forgotten! Thank you, Heloise and your staff - it was a very special time!
Love,
Div and Lalagen Esterhuizen

The Dutch Manor is like a bed and breakfast in some respects-a common sitting and dining room, breakfasts made to order. and of coure, lovely antiques. The canopy beds were not only beautiful, but very comfortable. The service was excellent, with staff recommending transportation and restaunts, and taxis were called and arrived within minutes. The only drawback was limited electric outlets, resulting in having to use the small desk to blow dry hair, re-charge batteries, etc...

The location is on a main street with easy access to the waterfront and to Table Mountain in the other direction. A short couple of blocks downhill gets you to Long Street and Mama Africa Restaurant. The other interesting nearby restaurant is up a few streets in the BoKaap (Dishmeila-not sure of the spelling), which features Cape Malay curries.

We would definately recommend Dutch Manor for its charm and hospitality.

Room Tip: Try to get a room that doesn't face Buitengrach, the busy road right in front.

We won one night's accommodation, including dinner, bed and breakfast, in this hotel, in a competition. What a pleasant surprise! The interior looks like an old Cape Dutch home and our friends and family could not believe their eyes when we showed them our pictures afterwards. Our room was smallish but had all the amenities we could hope for. The dinner was very good and the breakfast exceptional. Heloise was a wonderful hostess and no request was too much trouble. We liked the central location of the hotel and its proximity to the Bo-Kaap. All in all a memorable night's stay and we can recommend this hotel to any visitor to Cape Town.

As a frequent traveller I would give Dutch Manor top marks, it really is a home away from home. Heloise is a wonderful hostess, and all staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. You cannot put into words just how special the Dutch Manor Anitique Hotel is, you need to experience it for yourself.

Room Tip: Any room selection is a great choice, they're all magical.
