Awonderful hotel in a little backwater, yet close to the waterfront, staff are to be congratulated on really good all round service.Mr Signs smile on arrival brokered a very special hotel, the only let down was the lighting in the bedrooms, bar and restaurant very nice.

Room Tip: Rooms I would imagine are fine all round certainly the three rooms we occupied were first class.

Perfectly located near the Waterfront. Service was impeccable and we found the staff to be very helpful and efficient. Rooms were very stylish / modern and clean. Bathrooms were spacious, however, the toiletries / shampoo can be improved as per my wife. Would stay there again.

The queen victoria hotel is located right by the waterfront. The rooms are modern, clean and luxurious.
My husband and I used this hotel for our wedding night, and then a few nights after that too.

The staff were also very willing to offer assistance. Our biggest issue was learning how to turn the shower on! (just turn the knobs to select the shower head you want to use!)

Highly recommended hotel and would definitely stay here again

Room Tip: The rooms all seem to be great

It is rare to find a hotel that combines excellent location, design style, and warm service. But this is the Queen Victoria. I had read the tripadvisor reviews which led me to choose this hotel for a 2 night stay in Cape Town. The hotel exceeded my expectations. The front desk staff were extraordinary, from making sure I got a room with a great view (1302, see photo) to recommending hidden gems of restaurants to helping me plan sightseeing. I loved my room - it was huge with a luxurious bathroom (see photo) and great amenities. The location also is great because one is at the waterfront where one can use the sister hotels, including Victoria & Alfred, and also hop on the red sightseeing bus to go to different parts of town. And unlike central city hotels where one is stuck indoors in the evening one can walk around here to shop and dine out as I did despite being on my own. Will return to this hotel for sure next time I am in Cape Town!

Room Tip: Not all rooms have a view. Ask for 3rd floor. Those facing the mountains may be noisy because of the...

Good hotel, perfect location for visiting the city and dinning in the waterfront. Loved the breakfast and the service. House keeping was good. The hotel is lovely set.
Waterfront is a very good area for entertainment with family, kids, friends or couples. Recommend it to everyone

I stayed here for a couple of nights with my wife. The rooms were luxurious and large, the bathroom was epic and the staff were amazing. The hotel has a restaurant serving very tasty food and really beautiful breakfasts in the morning. It also has a spa where you can get a very reasonably priced massage that really sets you up for the day.
The property is on a small hill overlooking the waterfront and it's five minutes walk to the shopping arcade and waterfront restaurants. You can grab a late night drink in the bar and I'd recommend a local tipple as it's embarrassingly cheap and the bar staff are great and recommending something.
Overall they made a short stay very enjoyable, not just because this is a beautiful modern hotel, but they get all the little touches right also. Iced tea in the reception, they left a small dessert next to your bed in the afternoon, foot pads next to the beds so you don't have to walk barefoot on the floor (I'm not that precious and it was carpeted too, but it's a nice touch).
Can't recommend this hotel enough for a romantic break.
