The Hotel is located within walking distance of the beautiful V&A waterfront. The hotel is a good quality 5* and the staff provide extremely good service. On the whole it was a great stay and I would love to go back!

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and had a great stay. We arrived at 1:00 in the morning as our flight was delayed five hours. We had arranged a car from the hotel to pick us up but because of the time, no one came. We did try to contact them several times to see if they would still come but we ended up having to find a taxi at the airport which wasn't easy at that time of the morning. However once we arrived at the hotel, we were so happy with the room. They had nice robes, slippers and the bed was turned down. Really great sleep, very comfortable beds and the bathroom was awesome! It was huge and the shower was wonderful. We had the breakfast there one morning which was good. We found out that we could also eat at their sister hotel on the waterfront so we did that and found it had a better breakfast. We did not go to the bar very often. We found the drinks outrageous compared to other places on the waterfront. The staff was friendly and helpful but not really warm and fuzzy. Although it was nice to be greeted at the door whenever you came back to the hotel. The location was excellent, close to all the shops and restaurants at the V&A waterfront. I thought this hotel was really beautiful and I was very comfortable. I would definately stay here again.
Capetown was one of my favorite places. It just has a good feel and people are so friendly. Truly a beautiful city!

Wonderful hotel. Great service. Close to the Waterfront but not having the noise of it. We had an upgrade and stayed in a wonderful suite. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was great. Suite was very clean. Breakfast you can order everything you want for breakfast. Room-service was excellent.

Room Tip: All rooms are beautiful. But of course a suite is always the best.

We stayed at the QV with a family of 11 in December 2011, and are coming back this year for Christmas with a group of 7. The hotel has the best spot at the Waterfront, great friendly service, the food we had on New Year's Eve was terrific, and it's service with a smile all throughout, and attention to detail: when my 10year old nephew expressed a craving for Nutella, the breakfast team made sure there was some for him the next morning. He could not have been more pleased! We highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel has a very quiet location right on the waterfront. I went there not too long after knee surgery, and it was easy for me to walk to all of the shops (although there were stairs). The food was excellent- we had breakfast included. The hotel is quite small, much smaller than the pictures have you believe, but it's quiet and intimate.
