Owner description: The urban park was one of the legacy projects of the FIFA World Cup 2010. The area is adjacent to the Cape Town Stadium and has stunning views of both the stadium as well as Signal Hill. Lovely place to bring the kids to excercise or to have a picnic. It is also a learning experience for young and old. The garden is separated into ‘People and Plants’, ‘Wetlands’ and ‘Discovering Biodiversity’. The park hours are from 7 to 7 with visible security.

The park is very beautiful and walking around will be a quite interesting experience.
You can learn something (from the biodiversity walk area), spot the beautiful stadium, see people playing cricket, baseball, etc... children and you can also assist from a distance to a birthday party... Maybe not a "must see" of Cape Town but iIt's a place worth a visit with a camera.

The park was one of the upgrades we got from the 2010 soccer event and not being a soccer fan,at least I can enjoy this beautiful, lush green space and hope to do so,and see the plants grow and mature over the years to come.Well worth a visit when in Cape town.

An amazing abundance of green well worth a stroll through, right in the heart of the city, all with the backdrop of the stunning Greenpoint stadium.
