Our office department went to Buena Vista Social Café for our quarterly team-building event. We were approx 55 people and the service was quite good. Our table did have to wait until last to be served, but under the circumstances it was to be expected. Their standard Nachos consist of spicy tomato nachos, salsa, guacamole and sour cream. Apparently it was delicious, but a bit rich for some. I enjoyed the Burger Del Toro, but was surprised that there was a "bite" in the crispy potato wedges. Guess one should expect that at a Cuban restaurant? My strawberry milkshake was really yummy with real strawberries (pulp) mixed with ice cream and milk...topped off with a fresh cherry. The vibe was great and music not too loud. Well, it was a mid-day function.
