Thank you again, Rob, for the two nice days we could spend with you.
Because the weather has been very hot during the first days of february we resigned making long tours - so thiss year we could have a look to different points of interest, restaurants and events in and around Cape Town.
On our first day we started enjoying the contents of your cool bag with a lot of specialities and tapas to eat and drink
We stopped at the vineyard hotel is in Newlands in the southern suburbs of Cape Town to enjoy a very special lunch, the nice park and your never ending stories about the vines of C.T.
We also got to know about the local brewery's beer from CBC (Cape Brewing Company) - followed by the "adventure" of going to the food market at The Old biscuit mill.
On the second day we have been introduced trying out Cape Town city's new public transport system and see how easy ist has got to move around in Cape Town.
We visited the Slow food market on Saturday mornings in Stellenbosch - lots of impressions at a nice place.
After a sight seeing tour and a stop at "The Original T-bag Design Shop" near Kirstenbosch we enjoyed our lunch on the beach in Hout Bay at a restaurant called On The Dunes.
Unforgettable again the lot of stories Rob knows to tell about the country and the people of the region.
He also gave tips what to do using the "Hop-on-hop-off-Bus" in C.T., so we spend two nice days in the wonderful plant garden "Kirstenbosch" and at the vineyard Groot Constantia with it's excellent restaurant Jonkershuis.
Dear Rob - if we come back in 2015 be sure, you will here from us in time.
