Stayed here for 6 nights after touring S Africa. Had major issue with 1st room allocated as it was extremely noisy throughout the night with loud generator outside constantly buzzing. Phoned Reception at 1am and 6.30 am after not sleeping I insisted on a new room which we did get.
Room was quiet, clean and comfortable with nice bed, tv hospitality tray, safe air con and fridge with complimentary water every day.We had view of pool and city but some have Table Mountain views.
Breakfast was decent quality with a good selection of fruit, yoghurts, cold meats ,cheese and hot items with eggs cooked to ordered. Had dinner there too with a buffet had reasonable choice soup salad and several hot dishes to choose from. Pleasant comfortable restaurant with terrace bar overlooking pool and garden. Drinks very reasonable with bottle of wine approximately £5.50 and a pint £2.
Hotel is near to a shopping mall with a few coffee shops and supermarkets, 5 minutes walk to hop on bus which was brilliant and around 15 walk to Long Street. A taxi to the V & A waterfront was £5 -£8 .More
