This is a very, very nice place. Very clean and you have everything you need. Its along the same lines as the Chateau chain throughout Canada.

The location is perfect - no car necessary and there is a driver to take you places within a 10km radius.

If I go back to Cape town, I would definitely stay here again.

I was fortunate to be spoilt as a birthday treat to a night here. Over the last 10 years, we have dined here several times (sometimes good, sometimes not-so-much) and have seen a few decor changes. The decor now is beautifully opulent. We were welcomed to check-in earlier as our 2 -bedroomed suite was available. A lavish, super-comfortable home-from-home awaited us. 150sq m apartment with a balcony overlooking Table Mountain and yacht-basin, birthday champagne and sweet treats, and even a gift for our daughter. Just steps to the waterfront for a light lunch, then back to the heated pool for some sun and dipping. Pool area is not very spacious, so beds are close to one another. Almost full when we swam there. Cold jugs of fruity water a nice touch. We did not dine at the hotel, having booked at 95 Keerom (also reviewed). Beds comfortable, marble bathrooms with excellent toiletries, comfy gowns and slippers. Room tip: ask for mountain view room - the working dock view can become noisy . Block-out curtains allowed to us to a great sleep-in; down to breakfast at 9am, which was well presented with a fair choice of food. Hot food has to be ordered, which did not go too well. The waiter did not write anything down, which meant the order arrived completely wrong and had to be sent back - twice! An excellent massage at the spa at 11 completed a relaxing mini-holiday for us, ready to face the world again. Staff are all professional and friendly and have obviously been trained very well. Having stayed at the One and Only a few times as well, I could highly recommend either - depending on your choice of glamorous space or opulent exclusive sophistication. Mmmm, perhaps I'll have to stay here again to make up my mind which I prefer....

Got in from a very long flight and was told that the room was not quite ready...sent us to the bar for complimentry beverages...Upgraded us to a suite for the same price...it was huge and for the 3 days we were there they're must have been $800.00 worth of fresh flowers brought in each day...the service was exceptional on every level...when they say customer satisfaction they were not kidding! Great food everywhere within the hotel...The hidden gem in the place is the downstairs bar...Ask to see the special whiskey menu it will blow your mind...Spent over $2,500.00 on some very special scotch whiskey from place you've heard of and never heard of...well worth every single penny I spent and a true highlight of my drinking career and one that I'm sure will never be duplicated until my next visit....

Room Tip: If your budget can afford it try a suite facing the water....Truly one of the best Hotels in the wor...

From the moment you arrive you feel special in this beautiful hotel right next to the Quay. Shops and restaurants are nearby. I dined in the hotel restaurant and the food was marvellous with some nice touches along with the excellent South African wine. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommended.

Located in the heart of Cape Town, close to shopping and restaurants, this hotel is a must stay. Not just for its location but its elegant decor and comfortable large rooms make the stay enjoyable.

This hotel defines what SERVICE should be. Impeccable service, very very courteous, very personal, always with a smile.
Each and every one at the front desk and concierge always had a smile and would help us at any time of the day.

Room Tip: if u are with ur friends, suite is worth it

We loved everything about The Cape Grace Hotel! The location was just perfect -- right there at the harbor within walking distance of so many things and restaurants. The staff was so welcoming and the breakfasts were beyond delicious! It was a delight to wake up and know that a delicious morning meal was awaiting. The room had an incredible view of Table Mountain and was so comfortable. I would recommend this to everyone!

Room Tip: I would recommend the rooms with the view of Table Mountain

As I am gluten intolerant, I have been so pleasantly surprised at the options available to me and the staff's help. Karen at breakfast has been so helpful. Nothing is too hard. Rooms so comfortable and plush. Everything has been thought of. Will definitely come back and highly recommend. Thank you! Georgina (Australia)

Room Tip: Ask for mountain and harbour view!
