we stayed here of 2 nights before a 26 day classic car rally and returned on the last night. Luxury on both stays. It has lovely rooms, good meals and great staff. Great location for the marina and V&A Waterfront - many things to see, and many restaurants close by.

Room Tip: choose the marina side over the road side. we were woken by a trawler leaving early one morning.

We spent three nights at this hotel to celebrate the end of our first African safari and our wedding anniversary. Good location with a wonderful view of the marina and Table Mountain...the elegance and charm of the hotel was apparent as soon as we walked into the lobby. Even if we were tired from a 5 hour plane delay, it felt good to walk into this hotel and immediately feel welcome and at home (even at 1:30am). They surprised us with a bottle of champagne and chocolates which helped us forget the stress of the entire day's air travels. We didn't get to dine at the restaurants on the property except for breakfast which was impeccable. We will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: ASk for a room facing the marina and table mountain.

We stayed at Cape Grace from May 8 to 12 with a Tauck trip. What a wonderful hotel. Not only was the hotel beautiful, but the staff was incredible. What service. The food was sensational also. The place to stay in Cape Town.

Was here 3 nights and loved it. Deserves its fine reputation. Outstanding service. We were tired our first night having arrived at 8 am, we hit the ground running. Almost skipped dinner... But gave the Tasting Menu a go...OMG... Delicious! Great way to start a journey.

This is probably the best hotel I have stayed at and is truly 5 star. The service is impeccable and the large room was immaculate and had a great view over the marina.

The food at Bascule is tapas and was very impressive. We also had lunch in the Library and were really impressed with the quality and value for money.

Highly recommended!

Long overdue review. It may have changed in the last two years, but this is the place to stay in Cape Town for comfort, luxury, gorgeous setting, convenient location on the water, great service. The car service was helpful, as well. This hotel pays attention to details, and made our visit more special

We divided our cape town visit in suburbs (we stayed at tintswalo atlantic) and city here at the cape grace. It was such a lovely hotel, staff was awesome, afternoon tea was so nice, it is perfectly located and rooms were beyond comfy!
