This is a lovely hotel with great service! The breakfast (included with our stay) was awesome -fresh, lots of variety and delicious! Great on-site food and beverage outlets, but also a short walk to local restaurants, shopping, attractions. The hotel was doing some pool renovations, and compensated us for the inconvenience with a free dinner (unexpected, but appreciated); the meal was delicious, and the service was attentive...friendly, helpful concierge team...we stayed in a two bedroom suite-lots of space, comfortable beds, nice kitchen, living room and dining area, very clean and well maintained rooms!

What a wonderful place to land after such a long trip from the US. The Cape Grace Hotel is a beautiful property and was our first stop on our two and a half week family trip to Africa. All of our rooms faced the harbor and had a beautiful view of Table Mountain. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed, fine linens, wonderful soaking tub, heated towel rack, mini bar, and an espresso machine. I loved the dressing area and vanity.

The hotel staff was second to none. They addressed us all by name after the first night. It really made the entire stay feel very special. We had breakfast daily at the hotel and the food and service were both fantastic.

The Cape Grace Hotel was perfect in every way. I cannot wait to return.

Hi,

Second stay at the Cape Grace in two years.

Nice area around the waterfront. Rear facing rooms have the best view of a yachting Marina.

Beds are VERY comfortable with superb linen. It's so good you'll notice.

But the main thing is, the staff get to know you. Address you by your surname and are always on hand to help. Great breakfast. Great service.

Small but perfectly formed gym.

At the time of writing, the pool was closed but the hotel offer to transport you elsewhere to one.

Room Tip: Rear facing view.

I've been going to the Cape Grace since 1997. And there is a good reason: it is simply the best. A hotel is (of course) about the right bed and shower, to have a good rest/night's sleep.
But when it comes to all the other bits and pieces, that is where the real differences start to transpire.
One telling tale is staff turnover. Many of the team have been there for years; some left but came back.. The same friendly drivers, the concierge (Hoon is excellent), Jacques, he solves and does everything, Tanya who knows the personal touches that make your stay even extra special.
At breakfast someone coming over and bring you your favourite bread (remembered from last time). The right paper outside your door. Sheeba's relentless drive to really look after you. Knowing answers to questions before you even ask them. There is no "no" for an answer.
The Spa treatments are among the best. The new GM has taken the CG to the next level. How many more levels will she discover???
Thank you Cape Grace for doing what you have done for me every time.
Can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: If you want to wake up with a spectacular view of Table Mountain; please ask for a Table Mountain vi...

A cheerful group of porters greets guests as they arrive at the lovely Cape Grace. Lovely vases of proteas decorate the tables in the lobby. A friendly concierge stands ready to assist. And that's just the first five minutes of our experience at the Cape Grace.

The Cape Grace is a beautiful hotel with elegant yet comfortable rooms and an accomodating staff.
The closets and dressing room were especially impressive -- so much space for a weary traveler's belongings!

The location is great. The Cape Grace is a very short walk from the Victoria & Albert Waterfront, which boasts an excellent aquarium, a beautiful shopping mall, and lots of restaurants.

Even the Cape Grace's restaurant was impressive. The breakfast spread with a make-your-own mimosa bar was very good. And though we usually prefer to venture outside a hotel for meals, we did have supper at the Cape Grace one night, and it was a divine meal of local, seasonal foods.

I heartily recommend the Cape Grace.
