The location is faboulus, if you have a car. Just teo minutes from everywhere. The rooms where spacious and nice, the service is perfect. The restaurants are excellent and the buffett breakfast is unbelievable.... Unmissable. Overall, wifi free all around hotel, and a perfect valet parking free of charge twentyfour hours a day. It is not easy find another hotel like this one in Europe as well!!!!

Great location, shutlle to V and A, excellent Executive Lounge, Professional Staff, great design, great health club and spa.....only thing is the pool should be outside rather then indoors. Great clean rooms, comfortable bed, windows open for fresh air. Excellent Starwood Property. Will stay again...noce over night for airport.

Room Tip: Get a room facing ocean, world cup soccer stadium, and the V and A.

Stayed there in December with the family, excellent location, great service and good view of the waterfront and the table mountains. Breakfast is outstanding and I felt the rates were very reasonable.

Room Tip: Choose a room on the higher floor, great view

We spent three nights at the beginning of our stay in South Africa in November and remember it as a good experience at a resonable price.

IIs situation at Convention Square suited us well,a couple of minutes walk into the city, which we found to be friendly interesting and safe .The hotel also run a free bus connection to the waterfront every 30 mins, which proved to be quick, comfortable and reliable.

Rooms were modern, comfortable clean and of a good standard , with the staff being friendly and efficient.

Perhaps its best kept secret was its top floor restaurant, which dominates the Cape Town sky line. The service and quality of food was not bettered in South Africa for the same price. It left one to wonder why the Hotel does not promote it better

All in all a very pleasant stay at the right price.

I guess this is supposed to be a business hotel since it is right in front of the capetown convention center. It was not that nice to be honest, the tv was like a 2o someting inch and I could hardly see what I was watching. The setup just wasnt that appealing. The good thing is the bathroom has heated floors which I loved . Also it has a big closet. The breakfast isnt that great either. But like anywhere else in capetown the people were very friendly and warm.

Dear ShallyWaly

Thank you for taking the time and posting your reviews of your recent stay at the Westin Cape Town.

I do apologize that you found our TV's too small, however these are fitted according to the brand standards as set out by our parent company, Starwood.

Our breakfast receives in general positive reviews and I am sorry you did not enjoy it.

Thank you again for your comments and we look forward to welcome you to the Westin Cape Town in the near future.

With best regards

Stayed in Westin Cape Town, and arrived around 1pm. We asked to check in early but despite promises that our room was nearly ready, we were kept waiting for nearly 90 minutes before we were offered our room which despite being non-smoking smelled of stale smoke. After some discussion with the duty manager, he found us a room which was good and the view better than the one we had been originally given.

That aside, the rest of our stay was excellent. The breakfast is fantastic, in particular the fresh cooked breakfasts and juice bar. The room, shower and bathroom were excellent and the concierge were good if not a little lacking in knowledge.

Whilst this is primarily a business hotel, it is an excellent value for money hotel for tourists, family friendly and the security is good. It is a short walk to town, and a 15 minute walk to the V&A. They do run a good minibus service to the V&A but no one at the check in told us about it, we just found out about it after seeing the bus.

The service is a bit cold, but it is an excellent base for a Cape Town vacation.
