We booked 2 bedroom apartment. Views are amazing. But 2nd room is kids rooms. So not suitable for 4 adults. For 2 adults + 2 kids it is perfect. 2 nd room does not have attached bathroom, light or A/C. Location is amazing. SeaPoint is an awesome area with HOHO bus stop right in front.

The hotel is brilliantly located, central to anything you want to do in CT. Whilst it is an older hotel, it is clean and safely a 4 star, and we come every year and it consistently delivers a good service. It has regular shuttles running so we hardly needed our car. Great for families with a self catering units.

Room Tip: It seems all the rooms have a great view.

My wife and I have spent our second holiday here this year and again had a good time. Lots of good points such as; an excellent position on the promenade, clean, well equipped units with great views from the rooms, very friendly and helpful staff and the complimentary taxi service is superb. We ate 1 evening meal in the restaurant which was just ok but you are close to lots of excellent eateries. The only major disappointment we had this time was that our unit, which was 1 bedroomed, had a very small balcony with a 3 foot solid wall in front of it. This meant that when you were sitting on the balcony you couldn't see over it and this did spoil our stay and we ended up sitting the bedroom to enjoy the view. So if you go ask for a room with balcony with a glass frontage.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony with a glass frontage

I think we got given the only suite in the hotel that did not have a balcony and it really made a difference. Suite 215 was right on the edge of the complex next to another building, which at times was incredibly noisy, especially when one group decided to have a BarBQue at 2am which went on until breakfast time.
The suite was on the second floor but could only be accessed by getting to the first floor, walking to the end of the building and climbing another set of stairs. I'd like to say we could get the lift to the first floor but you waited so long for it to arrive it was quicker to use the stairs, even with the dodgy hip that I suffer from.
The suite was badly in need of refurbishment. The sofa has a number of tears (some crudely sewn up) and was dirty. One of zips on the throw cushion was broken. The bed was so hard it would have been softer to sleep on the floor. The kitchen was well found and well stocked with utensils and crockery. Housekeeping were excellent but the towels and sheets were changed too often.
The TV was too large for the room and restricted to a few poor channels. You could get all channels for a weekly fee of 400 Rand. There was WiFi access in the room but only useful for emails. We wanted to Skype my parents but in the public areas the WiFi was inadequate.
The only high point was the excellent shuttle service which we regularly used.
We have stayed at this hotel before and were impressed. But not this time. Very disappointed.

The location is great with it being close to the beach front area and stunning Malls but it's the staff and service which sets it apart from the rest. If you are fortunate enough to have the private jacuzzis suite then you will really enjoy the full benefit of this magnificent hotel. The staff have probably been there from the start of this hotel and this just adds to the experience. The breakfast is also one of the highlights, it is satisfying and reasonable.

Stayed in a 2 bedroom suite on level 4 overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, magnificent sunsets. Huge balcony, fully modernized suite with a full kitchen, fridge and freezer. 2 TV's and 2 bathrooms, all one could ask for. The staff at this hotel are so friendly, they make you feel like family. The food was excellent, with a different theme each night. Breakfast was a buffet with a large variety of choice. They even got up early once to serve us breakfast before heading out on a safari tour at 5:50am. A free shuttle bus was available to take guests just about anywhere in Capetown. Tours were available from the hotel, arranged by the hotel with pickup and drop off at the hotel. All in all an awesome place.

Room Tip: Room 404 looking west to north west. Watch the surfers, joggers and the sunsets.

Stayed for a week as a group of 4. Perfect accommodation for us: 2 bedrooms both en-suite, kitchen, lounge and INCREDIBLE balcony overlooking the ocean (see the pic).
Service is excellent here - there's a free minibus that took us to Waterfront and Camps Bay every evening if booked about 2 hrs in advance. 45R per night parking on-site. Red Route City Sightseeing tours stop just outside and around the corner you have Seapoint's shops to help you stock the kitchen! Restaurant is nothing special - you're better heading in to find some nice eateries.
