My only gripe is with the Italian restaurant, the service is so poor. I ordered food at 20H00 for room service and the guys did not bother to bring them or even say anything. I ate at around 22H40 late

Hotel located in central CPT in a quiet area - close to bus stations, CPT castle and shopping malls - and walking distance to Waterfront. Warm and friendly welcome by the Parliament hotel team. We nearly felt home. Breakfast and dinner excellent - very good price / quality ratio - we can recommend and will certainly come back -
Thank you

This hotel's location is great if you want to be in the city bowl. It has parking available in a parking garage next door. This is a very small hotel but without the charm of a boutique venue. The room is neat and tidy and has a big and spacious bed. The dressing table/desk is big enough to use your laptop and get some work done if you need to.
I did not like the fact that the toilet paper holder and soap dispenser was the same grade used in public bathrooms. It made me feel like I was staying in a hostel or school residence. It also has a bath tub shower, so don't expect luxury here. Don't bother switching on the aircon - it will keep you awake all night.

Room Tip: Do not sleep on the 7th floor if you are a light sleeper - it is right by the parking garage door, w...

The staff were friendly and also informative. On arrival the manager welcomes you. The rooms are also pretty good. Spacious and very clean as well. Each room has a safe to keep sensitive belongings. The WiFi speeds are decent as well for those who need to do some work. Also since its right in the city you can take a walk to various shops and sights around. I enjoyed my stay there. Recommended.

I love Cape Town. So much history, places to visit and to stay at the Parliament Hotel
is the icing on the cake. As an older woman (70s) traveling alone I felt that the staff
really wanted me to have a good time. Nothing was too much trouble, the travel advice
was good, the breakfast suited all tastes, especially the full "English" , the location is walking distance from MyCiti Bus from the airport. Don't wait. Just go!

The place we usually stay was booked out in Cape Town due to a big mining conference in town, and we had to really look around for anything spare. Although not based in the most salubrious of areas, the hotel was very homely, comfortable and for access to the CBT of Cape Town convenient. The staff made my stay excellent - all of whom were friendly, approachable and helpful. Would definately consider staying here again as it put a much smaller dent in our annual travel budget and it was nice to get away from people from the conference for a bit of seclusion.

Room Tip: no gym or swimming bath.

Arriving at the Parliament Hotel, you think you're in a rather drab neighborhood, but it's just the block, which is absolutely safe and by a police station. In fact, you're two blocks from the bustling center of Cape Town.
My room was clean and modern, with free WiFi and a safe. The friendly staff was eager to help with all logistics of touring the town.
