The hotel is beautiful and in a fantastic location in Cape Town. Our bedroom overlooked Table Mountain and the harbour which was the perfect view to start your morning. The staff where so helpful, when we arrived they advised that we should go to table mountain straight away as the ‘cloth’ would be on for the next couple of days. Once we had checked in and got changed, we got downstairs and they had already booked the tickets and a taxi for us. We could not have asked for better service. The breakfast each morning was fantastic and meant we did not need any lunch! The whole of the hotel is modern and clean. I could not recommend this hotel more and the fire being lit at night with a glass of Champaign for you honeymoon was the icing on an already perfect cake.

When breakfast starts with a dozen oysters and a glass of champagne, what can go wrong? My wife and I are very grateful to the helpful staff who dried our soaking clothes. We were caught in a downpour shortly before our flight to Amsterdam, after we had already checked out of the hotel, yet the staff went out of their way to make it possible for us to change into dry things and to dry our clothes in the hotel laundry prior to our flight. Nice room, good views and a great location. Our wholehearted recommendations to the Victoria and Albert. Hank Wise

Great location, good food, very friendly staff, professional and accomodating. The view of the harbor and the surrounding mountains of Devils Peak, Lions Head and of course, Table Mountain are spectacular. Being able to walk to the Robben Island ferry, close proximity to shopping and fine dining definitely a plus.

Room Tip: Facing the harbor is the best view.

My husband and I spent 4 nights here and had a good stay. The location of the hotel is for sure its highlight (along with the amazing breakfast!). We stayed in a loft room on the third floor and enjoyed a wonderful view of Table Mountain. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom very big with a separate bath and shower along with a small room for the toilet. The hotel was under construction during our stay and that affected our stay. We heard some noise during the day (hammering, etc) and the hallway smelled of paint and had a fan constantly running (only could be heard in the hallway). The water came out brown when we first turned on the taps (I imagine work was done on the pipes). We had to use the elevator as the stairs were closed (seemed wasteful as it was only a few flights up/down...and often took 4 or 5 minutes to arrive during busy times). Our experience with the staff varied quite a bit from fantastic to only average. There were things we needed (an in room dining card) that we had to request multiple times and other times the staff seemed to anticipate our needs. My husband had early morning shark dive time and the hotel provided breakfast in the room at no additional charge which was very much appreciated (a staff member suggested this at check-in). Overall, it was a good stay, but improvements could be made. Once construction is complete, I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is so conveniently located for sightseeing around the waterfront and for shopping. Rooms are of generous proportions and beautifuuly appointed. We were fortunate to have a room facing the Mountain and harbour,a view that is constantly changing depending on weather. Staff were exceptionally helpful and polite, dining in the atrium area for breakfast was a great start to the day. Every effort was made to personalize our three day stay. With one of our plans cancelled due to poor weather the travel desk was amazingly efficient in organizing a day trip to wineries.
Great staff, great hotel great location! What more would you want!
