It's a very awesome, wonderful hotel including staff, especially Bamford.. I'ts feels like you at your own home it's nice for business and leisure. The tour guide Shuaib they use are well educated thanks to them it's another good memory you taking home beside the warmnest of the property. Staff goes the extra mile for you, they always smile and look happy and very enthusiatic to help you and Bamford the guy that always have a plan.

Cape Heritage is centrally located and on a courtyard with some lovely restaurants,we went to the Savoy Cabbage which was a little pricey (for SA standards) but served excellent food and wine. The room itself was gorgeous with a fantastic bathroom and balcony complete with sun beds! Only downside was that it was quite noisy since it overlooked the courtyard so if this would bother you ask for a room away from the courtyard. The staff were all fantastic and extremely welcoming, we arrived early and offered breakfast and a room to shower and change in as ours was not ready which was very much appreciated after a long flight. The car park is literally opposite the hotel and seemed very secure. All in all a great hotel!

Well this wonderful place offers something different to the normal run of the mill hotels. I travel extensively so am not adverse to staying in luxury hotels but this place is something different. Great attentive staff, nothing too much trouble and always there to help. Each room is designed and furnished on a different theme which is just so refreshing. Converted from an old rope house and surrounding a beautiful court yard with great restaurants and a real fun and vibrant atmosphere makes this place a must to visit while in Cape Town. Breakfast in the courtyard is so sivilised and yummy. The hotel even boasts the oldest grapevine in SA!! Well done Cape Heritage......a truly wonderful experience.

My husband and I spent two nights at the Cape Heritage. We arrived very late on a Friday night and we very surprised to discover that we had been upgraded from a standard room to a very large suite with balcony.
The room was beautiful with an enormous bed, large amount of storage and one of the most wonderful bathrooms which included a large shower and even larger bath. This room also included a big balcony.
However the downside to this room with balcony was that it overlooked the busy courtyard. It was extremely noisy especially on a Friday night. I had specifically contacted Cape Heritage prior to our arrival at the time of booking to request a quiet room (i.e. one that did not overlook the busy bar courtyard area). We were therefore very disappointed that our request had been ignored. Luckily enough the Saturday night was peaceful in the courtyard due to extremely high winds shutting the city down.
The breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed feeling like we were sitting in someone personal kitchen helping ourselves to a fresh and delightful continental breakfast.
All staff were warm and friendly. Free WiFi in the room was a bonus. We also enjoyed some items from the minibar since we were stuck inside due to the bad weather
The location is ideal as only a short walk to busier Long Street and about 15 mins away from the V&A.
Overall we were pleased with a free upgrade but wish our requests had been noted
An excellent and friendly boutique hotel

Room Tip: Request a room not overlooking the courtyard and hope they listen to you!

We never wanted to leave , all rooms are so beautiful and the interior cant get any better ! We'd like to come back and stay in a new room every night =) =) Next door is Africa Cefe were you have to dine ! We loved the funky aprons the staff was wearing and managed to get the last one which I will wear in my kitchen at home.
