“Excellent Cape Town niche”

This was my second visit to Cape Heritage -- it is a terrific place -- a restored historic building decorated with contemporary and classic art. Three of Cape Town's best restaurants are just round the corner on the same block. Nice breakfast and friendly staff. The neighbourhood is central and the hotel is easy to find. A short walk from Greenmarket Square and other central city bowl sites. Hard to beat.

The Cape Heritage Hotel combines historical ambience with very spacious and comfortable rooms, great service and a perfect central location.

We loved the breakfasts, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. This is great value accommodation, with good restaurants nearby and within easy walking distance of everywhere you need to go in Cape Town.

I was able to organise a township tour and the staff responded to our requests and needs every time.

I'd highly recommend this hotel - one of the best I've stayed in, and an absolute delight.

Room Tip: Ask for the large deluxe rooms - they're worth the extra.

The hotel itself is really nice. It's in an old building with gorgeous rooms. We were taken to our room and they had just painted so the smell was intense, but they quickly moved us to another equally nice room; no problem. We really appreciated that. Nice bed and nice linen. TV wasn't great. Quieter than I thought being in such a central location. Great great breakfast. A little high priced, but looking at everything else in the city it is right on.

Lovely breakfast in the kitchen - ask for theor Quaker oats (organic) with honey

Lovely hotel with great rooms in a central location of Cape Town. Staff and service are outstanding and a great added value to the excellent feeling during our stay. Rooftop jacuzi with launch beds are a great escape. Overall very positive and we will come back. Only minus point was the friday evening/night with a very noisy nearby located party going on. Probably our own mistake to sleep early on Friday night in South Africa! Great extra feature from the hotel was te let us use our room till late the last day to relaxe on our room beforeheading to the airport in the evening.

I came with a large group of family and friends - we essentially took over the hotel for 5 nights. The staff were wonderful - from welcoming us with coffee and tea, heating up the roof top jacuzzi for post hike soaks, and finding in room masseurs. The variety of breakfast choices was a delight. The room was incredible. I had room 107 which is the biggest with a huge four poster bed and a gorgeous big bath tub. Perhaps they felt sorry for me being the only singleton there! But I had an amazing, relaxing holiday.

We spent three night in Cape Heritage and we found it lovely, warm and very comfortable. Room was amazing, we loved the bathtube...so relaxing after a day around Capetown! The staff was very friendly and helpful, giving us many suggestions about possible itineraries all around the city. We' ll come back for sure!
