“Short and Sweet with languid emotional networking”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

Best to read up about it as you make your way to visit an area of Cape Town that was another venue of segregation. It is in a neighborhood, the neighborhood where it happened. Much love and energy has gone into this memorial. It is small but full of guts. Some survivors volunteer there so you can get a first hand story to walk away with.

“Not what I expected”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

The museum tends to talk a lot more about specific families rather than the area.

There were also quite a few of the interactive pieces that did not work.

As a person that now lives in Zonnebloem I am very interested in the area. I dont think the museum really shed too much light on what we see now as compared to what it was before.

“Interesting but could do better ”

I was very interested in going and finding out more about such an important issue to me. Bit disappointed. Information overload , no system around just too much stuff. Walked out knowing more which is good but I wanted to know even more. staff satisfactory

“Eductional alternative”
Reviewed 6 August 2014

We visited this museum due to weather closure at Robben Island. It was well presented and educational showing an insight into South African history (if a little upsetting at times). Staff were attentive informative and approachable.
