This cosy cafe is so cute with the theme of Beatrix Potter's "Peter Rabbit". On the day we went it was a cold and very rainy day in Cape Town. Once inside we were welcomed by a friendly waiter. He immediately informed us that the coffee machine was broken, so no lattes, cupaccinos were available but he had hot, fresh filter coffee. The menu had names from Beatrix Potter's books like Cotton Tail, Jemima, Flopsy. on the menu they had omelette, soup, warm Asian salad. Quesidilla. pancake, waffles. On the counter was a huge basket with wool and knitting needles. Anybody can pick up the wool and needles and "Knit-a- row-and go." The scarves will then be donated to needy children. We ordered Rosti and omelette with smoked salmon and Rocket. It was delicious. We enjoyed the morning.
