From the moment you enter this lovely place , you feel relived that you have made the right choice. The place it meticulously clean , beautifully decorated, and the beds perfectly comfortable. The hosts are clear in their instructions and will give tips and where to walk , where to eat and what to do in Cape Town. The breakfast is terrific and there is always a little surprise something extra on offer like pancakes or croque monsieur as well as a full cooked breakfast.

Room Tip: The rooms on the second floor at the rear have a view and are very quiet

Wonderful boutique hotel in Cape Town. Location is fantastic. Just outside of the downtown area in a trendy and safe neighborhood. Within a 2 block walk to shops and a good assortment of restaurants. No need to take taxis in the evening. Staff are attentive to every detail and will assist with any and all requests whilst you stay with them. Owners sat down with us and answered most of our questions without having to ask. They really make you feel at home. 3 converted town homes combined as one and decorated exquisitely in an African theme. Highly recommended!!

We stayed at the African Villa for 6 nights. The decor is modern African. Our room was lovely. There are two comfortable living room areas for the guests. My husband and I felt that we were staying in someone's home without intruding. So much better than an impersonal hotel. The location of the B&B was an easy walk to many of the popular tourist destinations in Cape Town.

The breakfasts were very good and served in a lovely backyard courtyard. The owners are friendly and extremely helpful. They made great restaurant and day trip recommendations, made the arrangements for our rental car and transportation from and to the airport.

We would definitely stay here again.

We loved this guest house. The location enabled us to explore Cape Town easily. The rooms, breakfasts, the staff, were to notch. This guest house will be our destination from now on.

My husband and I stayed at An African Villa at the end of February. We loved, loved this B&B! The owners were extremely professional and very helpful! Upon arrival Cindy sat us down to explain the B&B and Cape Town to us. She helped us plan a really nice itinerary and gave us tips about places to eat, where it was safe to walk, etc. The place itself was gorgeous and very peaceful. The room was perfect! Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The breakfasts were wonderful and the ladies serving the meals were just lovely! Port was served every evening and they had cakes out for the taking. There were two computers available at no charge for guest use. The neighborhood itself was really nice and easy to walk around. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Cape Town!
