The view is amazing, the sounds if the waves hitting the rocks is amazing too. Great time, good alternatives to take a couple of drinks and good food.

Clifton beaches are famous for their excellent position and shield the wind when the rest of the city is very windy!. The beaches are also separated into four beaches ...during high tide by the surf coming up high enough that the rocks divide the beaches....each one has a very different local crowd and also access is harder to get to on first beach....fourth beach feign easiest to access and therefore the family friendly beach with list of kids , umbrellas and beach paddle etc..... The beaches are small and intimate.....fourth being bigger.....but the setting with private homes right in the sand and the enclosed space so beautiful....you gave to pack your food and drinks and go spend a day. Parking is hard....it gets very crowded during holidays....and the ocean can sometimes be freezing cold.....but nevertheless you haven't been to a Cape Town if you haven't visited Clifton beaches!!

cliftons 4 beaches is know for being wind free and it also makes them hot on a sunny day. but if you want to mingle with good looking people this is the place to be. very crowded on weekends and difficult to get parking after 11am

Made up of 4 little beaches with iconic residences and sunsets Clifton along with Camps Bay & Llandudno makes up one of the few bathing beaches in Cape Town itself with sandy beaches. Staying opposite the sea in Cape Town can mean a beautiful but does not guarantee a bathing beach with sand as much of the coastline is rocky so check before booking.

the winding road, the beautiful houses along the way, the mist created by the proudly dashing waves have to experienced. words cannot describe the ride.
