Owner description: The Twelve Apostles is a range of mountain peaks that runs along the Cape Peninsula south of Cape Town. They form the backdrop of a scenic drive along the coast.

The twelve apostle mountains that line the Cape Town coastline are very nice, helping create a nice setting for this amazing city. It is nice looking at them driving up from Camps bay area to the V&A waterfront and towards the city centre, you can get lots of good pictures of them this way. They are also quite visible from the City Sightseeing tour but you've to look at them from the mountainside seats, while most are trying to peer out to the sea.

On their own, the twelve apostles are quite overshadowed by the presence of Table mountain and to a lesser extent Lion's Head. However, they do make yet another nice addition to this city, worth at least a dozen photo shots.

The Twelve Apostles Mountains were stunning in scenery. I hired a driver and went on a scenic tour around the southern coastline. The views were beautiful from every turn and corner.

The Twelve Apostles are a group of small mountain peaks that run along the coast of the Indian ocean in South Africa. They are visible as you drive along the coastal highways in Cape Town. Don and I, had the opportunity of enjoying the sight of these beautiful peaks while we were in Cape Town.

We had a second viewing when we tool a cruise to Robeen Island from the Victoria and Alfred waterfront. Now I wish we had hiked, but the say we drove along the weather was not that great. I would recommend hiking along the path for a better view and enjoying being at higher grounds.

Many people confuse the Twelve Apostles in South Africa with those in Australia. The Australian ones seem to be more popular than the South African ones, nonetheless, they are such a picturesque sight to see and photograph.

This is the 'Things to do' section...so not for reviews of the hotel by the same name!! (Please do not review the hotel here).

The Twelve Apostles is a range of small mountain peaks that run along the coast with the beautiful suburb of Camps Bay against its slopes.

The 12 Apostles are great to look at, take pictures of from a sunset cruise (available from the Waterfront) or to walk along its hiking paths (please check this is still done and hike in groups of 4 or more close to Cape Town centre).
