The views here are breathtaking, and stunning. Even though it was Winter and the wind was quite brisk, we were able to get some beautiful shots and just to enjoy the natural settings that we don't get to see in urban surroundings. It is well worth the drive to see them from all angles.

Ok so there are more than 12 reasons to visit the 12 Apostles. Best viewed from Camps Bay or Lions Head. There are also hiking trails up there. Or drive along them from Camps Bay to Hout Bay.

If you do decide to hike up there just remember: do it in a group ;)

Lovely to see but only if you are passing through anyway to get a nice photo. I think it is covered in lots of tours and is a nice place to stop for a photo.

With Table Mountain as a backdrop the sheer unspoilt rugged beauty takes your breath away. Looming mountains on one side and the sparkling ocean on the other- it does not get any better than this

I don't think many people know that the famous hotel is named after a range of mountain peaks. Some say that the Twelve Apostles are even more significant than Table Mountain itself. The beach and neighboring coastline sure is impressive!

When you drive along the coast again, take some time to stop and look at the Twelve Apostles, as in the mountain peaks. There are actually 18 of them, but try and count the 12 that are near the famous hotel and spa that has the same name :)
