Cape Cadogan - More Quarters is a most charming apartment hotel with warm, hospitable staff, who were always most helpful in providing us with information. Our apartment was bright and spacious, with a lovely, small balcony. The dining room was delightful and offered delicious breakfasts.

The hotel is in an excellent location providing easy access to sites and to good local restaurants.

We highly recommend this apartment hotel.

The Cape Cadogan was the first stop during our 16 days' South Africa trip. Reception was friendly, our room was clean, luxurious and spacious; breakfast was a pleasure!
We actually had one of the two suites which are in a separate building (see pictures), and the setting was impressive, with our own small veranda, a huge bathtub and a rainwater shower.
There is no doubt The Cape Cadogan deserves its high Tripadvisor rating
Both my wife and I would go back there again immediately, however, I would no longer choose the suite: while it clearly is worth the money, it simply doesn't make much sense to stay there for a single night. Lesson learned.

Many who envision travel to South Africa know little or nothing about the Boutique hotels and Guest Houses - each with its own charm.
Cape Cadogan in Cape Town is one of the best of these. In my own trips, I look for two elements: comfort - and warm, genuine hospitality.
Cape Cadogan gets 5 stars in both these categories. It's an oasis in the heart of the city. Easy access to everything you want to do - and then a sanctuary when you return to unwind and relax.
I needed that. This was a working trip and what I wanted at the end of the day was a quiet Lounge and a glass of good South Africa wine. On a nicer day, I could have been out on the terrace by the pool.
Shops and restaurants are literally just around the corner on Kloof street - and the staff will line up reservations for you at other restaurants in the city when you prefer. As well as book tours, rental cars, give you advice on what to do. Next to Cape Cadogan the owners also have the More Quarters - luxury self-catering apartments for travelers perhaps wanting more privacy, the facilities to organize some of their own dining. If you're still planning, I seriously recommend either More Quarters or Cape Cadogan.

We had a view of Table Mountain from one window and a view of Signal Hill and Lions head from the other. With great local restaurants around the corner this was a fantastic base to explore Cape Town. The staff were so welcoming and could not do enough for you. the rooms clean bright and with a bath big enough for someone who is 6ft to lay flat in!!! Breakfast was a quiet affair but plenty of choice on offer. We recommend to anyone visiting.

Room Tip: Go to Millers thumb for an evening meal, only a couple of streets away, you will get the freshest of...

We arrived tired after an over night flight from London, and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were lovely and the two lounges a lovely place to sit and chat.

The hotel is very well situated for access into the city centre, so we could walk in and out very easily.

When they found out we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary we were offered an upgrade. We weren't too sure we could be bothered to mo Bve - but the team were insistent and offered to move our things for us. Well, who could say no to that. Everything moved really nicely - and later that evening our room was decorated - which was really appreciated by my wife for all the trouble I had gone to. Needless to say I kept quiet that I had done nothing at all!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and appreciated all the help we were given.

The breakfast room is done out charmingly - a real haven of peace and tranquility.

We stayed at Cape Cadogan for 4 nights and we were so very pleased with our accomodations. After our long flight we were met with cool drinks and cookies while the reception gentleman gave us a brief orientation to the area. The four of us stayed in two units and each was unique and very comfortable. Not only were the furnishings attractive but the little 'extra' touches added to our enjoyment such as fully stocked bookshelves with lots of information about the area, nice cozy robes and slippers, hot water bottles in our bed at night plus every surface was sparkling clean. The breakfasts were exceptionally good with attentive and friendly service. We fell in love with Southern Africa and when we return we will definitely stay here.
