Really great place, situated in a great neighbourhood with stores, bars and restaurants. Really friendly and fantastic staff. Facility is simple, but clean. I was there for the Argus run with my bicycle. They where very helpful with my arrangements and concerning my bike. Had great fun with the staff. Will go there again if I go back to CT.

Room Tip: Take a room with a view on the Table mountain.

The National Youth Orchestra was treated to a wonderful stay at Saasveld Lodge on our tour in January and then again when we were performing an opera in March. Friendly staff, great location and clean rooms - what more could we ask for. Thank you to Saasveld Lodge!

Room Tip: Try and get a room on the Saasveld Road side to avoid the traffic noise from Kloof Street.

A huge THANK YOU to the lovely staff at Saasveld Lodge, who took my group of 7 in during an unscheduled 5 day layover in Cape Town. They organized air conditioning for the couple who really needed it and added mirrors and extra towels to the family room for our three ladies. Our room was clean and basic but comfy. Breakfasts were delicious and the staff couldn't have been more lovely. As other reviewers have noted, the location is ideal and the pricing offers a great value.

Room Tip: Ask for one of the two "new style" rooms for a more modern feel.

Centrally located in Kloof Street, it seemed the buzz was on in the area, easy walks to cafe society on the street, quick drive to the waterfront, safe and secure. Brilliant service from the staff, a little late night music from the street added to the ambiance. Average pricing includes a breakfast of your choice. Secure parking off street was a bonus. Thanks, we shall return!

Staff very helpful and friendly. As all the previous reviews have said hotel is in a fab location and a safe area. I made last minute plans to attend a friends wedding and the only place I could find. There is a lovely coffee shop across the road and a Woolies foods. I had a street facing room, a bit noisy but the bed was comfy, rroom clean. My only negative comment would be they could lay new carperts they worn and full of marks.

Room Tip: As for a room on the first floor there is 3 I think and no lift
