“Newly renovated, very comfortable and in great location.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 December 2011

We spent three nights at this personal and well-situated boutique hotel after touring the winelands. The owner/operators Justin and Natalia form a lovely family with their two young sons and greeted us warmly with a welcome drink of our choice.
The property dates back to the 1770s and just underwent a complete renovation, so the rooms, bathrooms and common areas are all clean and new. If you like a modern, sleek and functional feel, this is a great value hotel located in easy walking distance to many of Cape Town's good restaurants and attractions. Breakfast is simple, but offers something for every taste, a nice yoghurt & granola, fresh fruit salad, cheeses & cold cuts, toast and eggs cooked to your liking.

As other reviewers mentioned, there is a great roof terrace with a 360 degree view where you can enjoy a drink you helped yourself to from the well-stocked honesty bar. Natalia is very helpful with restaurant suggestions and reservations, and she provided information on hiking up Table Mountain that majestically sets the backdrop of this boutique hotel. There is even a pool and small outdoor gym set up on the premises. For families there is a convenient studio with full kitchen and adjoining room. Easy and secure parking in the courtyard round off the experience as does the friendly staff.

Room Tip: All rooms are nice and new, with black-out curtains and drapes to make it easy to sleep in if you wi...

We loved to be there, enjoyed the very friendly atmosphere and the quiet. It's close to the table mountain, there' s a small shop in the neigbourhood. We really felt at home. What else do you want, would surely stay there again. We stayed in two rooms, one with a kitchen, so we could make our own lunch, which is a good point for a familiy. We got some nice advices for restaurants and discussed with the hotel director about our day trips, which was interesting.

We had an unexpected additional night in Capetown and Three Boutique Hotel took great care of us! They brought us a very needed welcome drink, made dinner reservations at a great restaurant, and organized our taxi's! The room was lovely and we loved the rooftop terrace.

Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Thanks for taking care of us!

THE HOTEL WAS IMMACULATE! So perfectly done, with modern touches yet warm and soooo charming- Natalia and Justin are the owners and they are simply wonderful- extremely helpful with any and all local information- they have created a bed and breakfast intimacy with high end hotel quality and privacy- Both my husband and I can be difficult to please in opposite ways so when we are both completely satisfied and more than you know you have a gem. the views from the rooftop are sooo beautiful- table mountain sunset...not much is more beautiful. it was difficult to tear away and actually leave the comfort of the hotel drinking champagne on the roof that is is set up in kind of a miami shore club way- super comfy. We looved capetown and actually extended our stay from 4 nights to 6.

Room Tip: all of the rooms are equally fabulous! really im not just saying all was just refinished with soakin...

If you are looking for a chic, modern and well situated B&B in Cape Town don't miss this gem. Everything about our stay was wonderful from the delicious breakfasts and beautifully appointed rooms to the outstanding service we received from the owners. It was such a super retreat after all our traveling and sightseeing that our family found it exceptionally hard to leave after only two nights there. From the tranquil courtyard to the super roof top terrace that gives you spectacular views of Table Mountain, we loved it all. A great find indeed.

Awesome property, awesome location, awesome views, awesome service. I was in town on business and needed a quiet location that was close to where I needed to be every day. The Three Boutique did not disappoint on any front. The building itself is one of the oldest buildings in Cape Town and although Justin and Natalia have renovated and restored every nook and cranny of the place to fit modern ideals of comfort and style, the Three Boutique still retains the charm and mystique of a historically important place.

The property is just absolutely stunning and although I was there on business, I couldn't help but immediately dream of making a return trip with my girlfriend for more of a leisure trip. For my business needs I couldn't have asked for more....good working ammenities in room (nice sized desk, plenty of outlets, decent internet connection), great quiet location, secure off street parking, etc. Even being a great place for a business trip, the place feels perfectly suited for a vacation stay in Cape Town and could perhaps even be Honeymoon material. The room was decorated with a great combination of modern style meets luxury manor. Oh....and the roof deck....nearly 360 degree views of Table Mountain, Lions Head and glimpses of downtown and the harbor. Just plain awesome!

The service at Three Boutique was exceptional. Kuselwa and Alfini took great care of me with amazing breakfast service each morning and my room was kept spotless each and every day. There is a convenient self-service honor bar where you can grab yourself a beer or pour yourself a glass of wine without having to worry if someone will be there to help you.

All in all, I was extremely happy that I found the Three Boutique hotel and will for sure be staying there again on my next trip to Cape Town.
