Stayed here for 2 nights while we explored Cape Town, great little hotel with very personal service from the wonderful team. The hotel rooms are excellent, very nice breakfast and a stunning roof terrace that looks on to Table Mountain. It was a wonderful introduction for me to South Africa. Can highly recommend it.

I stayed here for a few days in February 2013 and found the hotel to be excellent. The owners - Justin and Natalia could not have been more helpful or welcoming. The twin room was very large with plenty of room for two suitcases and all associated holiday junk. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of yogurts, cereals and fruit followed by a hot breakfast. Please note however that the hotel does not serve lunch or evening meals. There is an honesty bar which has snacks (chocolate, crisps etc) but you need to go out for lunch and dinner. The hotel is nestling on the foot of Table Mountain and the views from the roof terrace are amazing. The geographic area of the hotel felt very safe. It was a 10 minute walk to a good Italian restaurant and a 45 min walk to the Waterfront. However, there is a driver at the hotel who can leave you to any local destination if required. All in all we found our stay very comfortable with excellent hosts. I fully intend to stay here again the next time I am in Cape Town.

How often does a hotel owner pick you up at the airport? This little hotel has been beautifully set up, and appears to be extremely well managed. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night, due to joining a tour group at another hotel the next night, but for family reasons we will be returning to South Africa every few years, and we will stay again.

We started our first visit to South Africa at The Three and what a fab starting point it was. Our room was very comfortable and nicely decorated, with little touches like the welcoming sherry. Justin and Daniel couldn't do enough to make recommendations and suggestions to make our visit to Cape Town just great. The ever-changing view of Table Mountain from the roof garden was an added bonus, as was the hotel taxi service in the evening which meant we didn't need to worry about the distance from the centre of town and the V&A Waterfront. Breakfast was excellent. A real family run hotel which we would highly recommend.

Room Tip: We had a room at the far end on the first floor which was set a little away from the others and so w...

That's the best word to describe Three, a Cape Town boutique hotel. Run by a very friendly and helpful couple, it is a great place to stay in the lovely city. It is some way to the main sights of Cape Town but there are good restaurants close by and the owners will make reservations for you.

We were met and made very welcome after a long flight from London. The Three is a lovely relaxing oasis with wonderful views of Table Mountain.. Rooms are comfortable and very tastefuly decorated. Justin (the owner) and Daniel made every effort to make our stay memorable by recommending and arranging trips and restaurants. On returning in the afternoons it was so relaxing by the pool with a drink from the honesty bar. Evening transport is organised so that you have no worries about going out at night. Would confidently recommend this friendly well run hotel.

The photo here is slightly misleading. It's a very small pool and property all around. But it was a decent place to stay. The staff is nice. It's gated and feels very, very safe. The common area/bar/breakfast is small but comfortable and the staff is very accommodating and kind. The food was good as well.

Having the rooftop area for lounging is a nice perk and offers a fabulous view of Table Mountain - you feel like you are practically on the mountain.

This hotel is walking distance to some convenience stores and restaurants and a very easy walk to the Jewish museum and from there into central Cape Town. It's a great location for your stay if you are visiting this part of town.
