We spent the last night of our honeymoon in Blackheath Lodge in Cape Town and it was the perfect 'farewell' to a beautiful holiday. Anthony (owner & manager) really goes out of his way to help one feel at home and enjoy Cape town to the max. The room we had was fabulously designed & so comfortable - complete with large TV (with lots of channels for a change!), lounge chillaxing area, A/C etc. Breakfast was delightful too. Blackheath is located a few minutes away from the Sea Point promenade - yet another plus!

Antony and his staff are absolutely the best!! The accommodations are fantastic. We have found the perfect place in Cape Town. It is worth a trip to Cape Town to be pampered at Blackheath Lodge. The room and bath are spacious and will make you feel at home. Breakfast is made-to-order and matches any of the finer restaurants. Antony was even able to arrange a last minute Cape of Good Hope tour when our original booking with another company fell through. This place is a MUST if you are in Cape Town.

Room Tip: Our room was by the pool and the location was great!

I had to plan our trip to Africa in a big hurry. Antony at Blackheath helped me with our Capetown stay in so many different ways. The Blackheath Lodge is truly one of the nicest bed and breakfasts I have ever visited. Lovely property, great rooms, delicious breakfasts, and, not as weirdly intrusive as some B and B's can be. The assistance we received from Antony, from renting a car, to choosing a route in the wine country, to sending us to spectacular restaurants well-suited to our needs, to helping with a last-minute haircut - made our stay stress-free and fun. The staff were fantastic, we felt safe and well looked-after during our entire visit. We were able to enjoy the best of Cape Town because of Blackheath Lodge. We highly recommend Blackheath Lodge. You will not be disappointed!

The entire staff were extremely friendly esp Michelle and Anthony! We were very well looked after during our stay at the lodge. They provided us with a local cell to contact them in case of anything. Made our trip to Cape Town very memorable! :)
