This restaurant, situated in a mall on a busy road is indeed a hidden gem. The service is always excellent and whether you just want a bite of something sweet or a substantial meal you won't be disappointed. Even their coffee is excellent. Well worth a visit if you want to try something different.

This vintage style restaurant is quickly becoming our new regular hang out and if I ever lose my mom I know exactly where to find her! Coffee is top quality and no matter what you choose from the menu it doesn't disappoint! We tried the high tea treat for my mom's birthday which was such an amazing experience and so personal from the quirky decor to a visit from the owner to wish my mom personally... and the service was great even with a crowd of giggling ladies:-) Wonderful place to take the whole family with an awesome kids area to keep the little ones entertained - you can sit back and really enjoy the food, vibe and enormous cake (try the amarula carrot cake:-) )

The best breakfast & coffee on the West Coast by some distance.
Breakfasts are simple, super fresh and well cooked. The coffee is award winning. The service is very warm and friendly.
There is a great surprise in the kitchen too - his name is Malusi and he makes some of the best cakes ever (think super cheesecake topped with red velvet sponge and covered in merangue).

Bread and Butter in Sandown Centre is our Friday after-school treat with my kids. Food is great, fresh and cakes are to die for. This last Friday we however, experience (not the norm) very poor service from our waitress. The owner immediately picked up on the errors and he was just amazing at correcting the problems. He even set the bill to zero which he really did not have to do but he wanted our dining experience to end positively. The food is amazing, the service is normally great and the owners are outstanding. Even though I had a bit of a bad experience this one time, I will definitely go back again.
