If you do not want to miss a beat in the heart of the Mother City, Long Street Boutique Hotel is the place to go.

Beautiful clean crisp rooms with a great view of Table Mountain. The dining experience at Arriba! Afro- Latin Cafe was something to remember with the live music and wonderful food. The staff are always friendly and helpful.

The location and absolute value for money is what sets this hotel apart. It was also great to be walking distance from the vibey Long Street and surrounds.

Hi
I stayed in the hotel for almost a week over easter with a friend. I chose the hotel based on a few characteristics that I had in mind: Close to the bar-scene, centrally located in the city, not a "typical" tourist bomber hotel but something much cooler than that. That's how I ended up booking here.
To be honest I am very fond of this little 6-room hotel. The service was personal and professional - whether it's laundry or currency exchange - you name it. I could always turn to the reception for some information on what to do, which route to take to get to the top of Table Mountain etc.
The rooms are clean, spacious and in very good condition. The bathroom was surprisingly large - shower and free-standing bathtub (all in a very cool design).
Another big plus of the location of the hotel is the vast amount of opportunities in close proximity: breakfast next door, EXCELLENT Burgers and milkshakes across the street at Royale Eatery, hip stores around the corner or the buzzing nightlife of longstreet at night - every day of the week.
Long story short - if you want to enjoy Cape Town, party and so on come here! If you want to relax and sleep early - don't. I will definitely come back soon!

The hotel is amazing and brilliant value for money. Clean, luxurious and spacious & the staff were very helpful. We booked for 1 night then booked to come back again at the end of the week. Stayed in 2 different rooms, 1st one had the stand alone bath tub and walk in shower - 5* room. The 2nd night we stayed in a room with a balcony that had a lovely view of table mountain. The location is brilliant in the centre of long street and easy to get to anywhere.

Totally surprised after entering through a locked (security) side door. The reception was on the second floor where we were met by a very pleasent and helpful host. After signing in we were showed our room #5. A beautiful bed, bathroom, patio and view of table mountain. So comfortable after our travels of 45 days through Southern Africa . Location was in the middle of Long Street where there are plenty of restaurants, bars, and entertainment establishments. A nice breakfast from the menu was served in the restaurant. A very nice place to stay in central Cape Town.

We had only intended to stay 7 nights in this hotel but stayed for 9 nights. I can't say enough about how good all the staff were and how welcome we were made to feel. They were all, including the managers, very friendly and accommodating, nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room kept very clean by a super housekeeper. Location wise it suited us because we like Long Street and knew that it would be noisy. It was no problem for us as we like to be in the centre of the activity. The décor and ambiance of the hotel and the restaurant downstairs also suited our taste. It can truly be called "Boutique" as everything about it was individual. Its a pretty building with original features which has been complimented by the décor and unique lighting. We had access to the balcony that looks over Long Street and often enjoyed a drink whilst watching the hustle & bustle. On Friday evening there was live music in the restaurant and on Saturday a brilliant DJ played Salsa music which got everybody dancing. Breakfast choice included smoked salmon, which is a great luxury whilst on holiday and of course all the usual juices and yoghurt, all of which were beautifully presented and very appetising. Some more refurbishment and extra rooms are planned and we will be back again sometime to try them! We really enjoyed staying here, everything was lovely but of course was the service that made it most memorable..

The hotel is clean, bright and comfortable. Oliver and all the people working there are friendly and available for any suggestion and request. The location is great, exactly in the center of the night life, with pubs and restaurants. It might be a bit loud during the night, but I personally had no problems. The room was terrific: big and comfortable bed, very clean, the bathroom had an amazing shower and a huge mirror. I also had access to a balcony with a great view on the Table Mountain. the breakfast was also very good, with fresh fruit every morning, juice, yogurt and of course eggs and toasts. I strongly recommend to spend your nights at the Long Street Hotel

On our arrival we found there had been some mixup with reservations, through no fault of the hotel. The manager, Oliver, handled the snafu excellently. Throughout our time there he went out of his way to assist us in every possible manner. I can truly say he is excellent in his role.
Our room was lovely--very clean, modern, restful with good choices in the soft furnishings. While ours was perhaps on the small side we did have a private balcony with table, chairs, umbrella and loungers and a view of Table Mountain. Our adult children had rooms facing Long Street and their rooms were also very attractive. One was large with a balcony and the other lesser so, but each was beautiful and distinctive. If I could recommend one change, it would be that small refridgerators are available in the guest rooms.
We were traveling over New Year's Eve and rather than chocolates our pillows had ear plugs waiting for us. It proved to be a smart choice as Long Street is a massive party on New Year's Eve with the roads closed to traffic and thousands of revelers on the streets. Whether the ear plugs are always offered, I do not know, but as one of the best aspects of this hotel is its location on vibrant Long Street they just may be.
On the street level of the hotel is an eclectical and fun restaurant/bar. Breakfast is served there for hotel guests.
Much of what makes Cape Town such a fun city is within walking distance of Long Street Hotel. Myriad restaurants, the Company Gardens, Green Market square, museums, a red bus tour stop, bars and shops. Long Street Hotel is a unique and pretty boutique hotel with plenty of personality located on perhaps the best street in Cape Town for holiday makers.
