We spent 3 nights with Stuart and the team at Acorn Guest House at the start of our honeymoon in south africa. Having been excited by all the good reviews Acorn house did not disappoint. Excellent service from everyone we met here, personal and friendly. So many personal touches and thoughtful gestures which made our stay extra special. A fantastic base to explore Cape Town. Would love to come back some day!

Room Tip: For our short stay our room, 'vogue' (i think...) was perfect, however for slightly longer s...

I stayed there for 2 nights. The house is beautiful in a very nice area close to downtown Capetown. The boss & staff are amazingly friendly & helpful. The house is run very professional! They have a lot of attention to detail. The breakfast was awesome, too. Overall i was more than happy to stay there! Thanks to Denise for taking her time and being so helpful!

My wife and I stayed here in March on our first trip to SA. Stewart and his team could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The situation of the property is superb just under Table Mountain and there is a lovely small garden for relaxing and taking breakfast when the weather is fine. It is possible to walk into Cape Town from here but it is uphill all the way back!
Stewart's advise on where to go, how to get about and where to eat is spot on.
We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed for 2 nights in February. We had a rocky start finding the place but Denise made sure we settled in well and calmed our nerves. The place is amazing. There are so many little details which make the whole experience so personal. Handwritten welcome notes, staff so attentive and helpful and not to forget Stewart's breakfast special and so much more. I would not hesitate to recommend.

We stayed in Acorn house in January and were delighted by the lovely welcome from Stewart. Our room (also Stewart) was lovely and the breakfasts were fabulous! Stewart went out of way to help us make the most of our 5 night stay and we would have no hesitation in recommending this B & B to anyone.

Room Tip: Our room at the front had a little traffic noise during the day but was quieter at night.
