I recently stayed at Point B for 12 days. Partly for a conference, partly to catch up with friends from Zimbabwe.

There simply aren't enough words to describe how wonderful Bradley, Hilton, Yvonne and the rest of his team are. They went above and beyond the call to ensure our holiday was memorable, relaxing and fun. Nothing was too much trouble for them - even organising couriers for some difficult-to-transfer souvenirs back to Australia!

Breakfast each morning was delicious. The eggs were done perfectly, and there was a brilliant selection of fruit, cheeses, juices and cereals every day. And we can't forget the brilliant coffee and rooibos always available for our indulgence.

The wi-fi was cheap and it took days for us to use our alloted vouchers up! Perfect for updating blogs, checking emails and confirming flights.

The room itself was just beautiful. A very comfortable bed, looking right onto the pool and very very private. I can't forget to mention the huge shower and luxurious bath or the lovely rooibos and lemongrass bath products. Definitely an added luxury!

The guest house is within easy walk of the waterfront and areas like Sea Point, with many very nice restaurants only a block or two away. Don't forget the gelato or the gourmet italian delicatessen only 200m away! Whilst walking around is quite safe; I would probably advise getting a private taxi to and from the waterfront if it is night-time. Yvonne has taxi details at the guest house, and is quite happy to make a booking for you at any time.

Point B is exceptionally well-priced for its location (especially with its proximity to the 2010 FIFA World Cup Stadium), and is extremely good value!

I absolutely adored my time at Point B, and am looking forward to my next visit.

Point B is a small, quiet and stylishly presented guesthouse.
Located very centrally for exploring Cape Town whilst being in seemingly safe and quiet backstreet.
Our room and communal areas were beautifully presented and there was a really tranquil ambience to the whole place.
Breakfast was more than ample with a big fruit/cheese buffet as wel as a cooked option.

My boyfriend and I stayed 4 nights in Point B as a start of our holiday in the Cape and Yvonne made sure that we got everything we needed during our stay. It's a very nice and cosy guesthouse within easy reach of all the main attractions. If you are searching for a charming guesthouse for a reasonable price you don't have to look further!

Super guest house more like a boutique hotel. lovely room with our own court yard. Bradley went out of his way to ensure we felt at home. running us in his own car in to town one day.. what more could you want. Stayed 3 nights will return. Good breakfast. 20 mins walk to the waterfront. lovely garden to sit out in.

Only stayed here for one night and so do not feel qualified to give it a full 5 star rating. Both the rooms and the lounge/breakfast area are very well presented and the whole place has character.
It is located in a charming maze of tiny lanes in Green Point and I would not want to take an S class Mercedes through that maze nor do I believe that it would fit in the parking spaces they have available!
Breakfast was limited in terms of what was cooked (eggs only) but the meats, cheeses, fruits and cereals were extensive and delicious.
