“Relaxing”
Reviewed 30 August 2014 via mobile

We stayed for 6 nights at the wilton manor and felt very relaxed. Great atmosphere, really good breakfast (has everything or will make anything for you) and really nice service. Got in very late, but this wasnt a problem. Parking was a bit crowded, but at least you could park it behind the fence and we had no problems getting out.
Clean and spacious rooms :)

Great accommodation, wonderful rooms, very friendly staff and the Parrots where a very nice touch. We had three fantastic nights in Cape Town. Must are visit Table Mountain, the Waterfront restaurant and shops, and take a helicopter ride over Cape Town ..... absolutely stunning.

Looks fantastic on the web site but actually not all that. Far too noisy with children crying and far too much noise from the road and surrounds. Parking shocking. Was parked in and almost late for a 07h30 due to a really inconsiderate patron only later to be accosted but another drunk patron on my return. Would not recommend at all - buyers remorse.

We had the suite and it was a lovely room. Our children's room however was rather small, but had everything you need, the plus there was the terrace. The service, the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff were excellent. The location is ideal to explore Cape Town if you do not mind walking a bit. Otherwise there are plenty of really cheap cabs that will do :-) Superb breakfast! I would definitely recommend it.

Location is excellent, few minutes drive from V&A Waterfront, Beluga restaurant etc. We stayed as 2 couples and had a big sedan rental car which proved challenging to get space within the guest house compound at times. Otherwise breakfast is amazing, and as many reviewers said, it is served with a smile and on order. They also have a very well packed honesty bar, so you can just help yourself and note down what you consume. The rooms are nice and spacious. My wife and myself stayed in room 5 and our friends in room 3. I would recommend room 3 because the shower is nicer.

Stayed for two nights in April. Loved the proximity to V&A Waterfront. Service is better than average; breakfast staff is very friendly and chatty. It's a B&B so don't expect a restaurant in the hotel. located in an area with really tiny streets (almost not big enough for two large cars to pass side by side); consider renting a small car for your trip and stay here.

Large spacious rooms although felt a bit "big for nothing". Hard wood floors were quite squeaky.

I wish the staff was better at restaurant recommendations for dinners.

All in all, it was a great stay at the Wilton Manor.

Room Tip: -Hardwood floors are quite noisy- if you are easily bothered by this, you might want to reconsider...
