Signal Hill Lodge
Reviewed 5 September 2013

My wife and I were married in Natal on the 29th June 2013 and we booked into the Signal Hill Lodge for a period of four days for our honeymoon in Cape Town.
We found the lodge to be well situated and central to town, the service from the staff and management was truly 5 star, warm friendly and accommodating to our needs.
The view is spectacular and we will definitely be staying at the lodge on our next trip to Cape Town.

I highly recommend staying at Signal Hill Lodge and will plan to stay there on future visits to Cape Town. Gerhard and the staff are genuinely welcoming and just lovely. The rooms are attractive and clean. The multi-level lodging is unique and affords several stunning views of the city and the ocean- from the breakfast room, the bar, and the lounges. The garden area is very pleasant as well. Gerhard is a gem.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony facing the view.

extremely friendly and helpful staff help make this a great place to stay. Great location too - not too far from key points to visit. Oh, and if you haven't noticed other people raving about the view, you have to see the view.

The service and view of the city are unmatched. The great view means that you are a bit off the beaten path, which means you are stuck taking taxi's if you don't have a car, but the cabs are cheap and the front desk arranges pick-ups so it isn't an issue.

The rooms have everything you need and are cleaned daily. Nothing too fancy, but fully equipped. For the price, I don't think you can beat Signal Hill Lodge!

The room was comfortable and sufficient.

The location is not so great. there is low cost housing right next to the lodge. It is quite safe though.

Panoramic views makes this fantastic for sundowners (can't quite see the sunset).

My stay was pleasant.

Fantastic staff always helpful with comfortable rooms, excellent views over the City and Table mountain make this an excellent stay for anyone on holiday or business. Secure and safe you can relax and enjoy the pool, bar or patio and take in the sights of Cape Town.

Highly recommended and I believe there is also a Health spa for messages but did not have time to try this out. Definitely next time.
