During our third visit to 2 Inn 1 Kensington, the team around Klaus and Christopher with their new and great addition Stefanie has once again transformed our stay in South Africa into the most amazing experience. The house is impeccably run with unparalleled attention to detail and quality, and the relaxing, calming atmosphere makes you not want to leave. But Klaus' and Christopher's top-notch service goes way beyond running their hotel: since their opening, they have accumulated an amazing network of related services and a knowledge base which made our as well as our friends' stay an unforgettable one. Thanks again to Klaus, Christopher, Stefanie and the entire team - we will be back soon!

I just got back from a trip to Cape Town where I was already 5 times. This time I stayed at the 2inn1 Kensington. Perfect place to relaxe from hectic working time. The rooms are beautiful, the Pool area feels like a private pool, and from the whirlpool you can see Table Mountain and Lions Head. Perfect place to have a good glas of white wine when the sun sets down. You can also have massages and other treatmens which I can recommend aswell. All in all one of the best places I ve been to. I will get back for sure!!!! Whenever you are in Cape Town and you like to relax 5 min away from the City, try to book a room at 2inn1.

What can I say, my 2 friends and I wanted to have a trip of a lifetime down in South Africa and we certainly did. One of the highlights of our stay was having the amazing good fortune of having a reservation at 2Inn1. It's a posh (affordable) refuge under the vista of Table Mountain, a former mansion tastefully renovated, they even have a pool/leisure deck! (Papa) Klaus and his team of wonderful, friendly staff went out of their way to help acclimate us to the area, they were genuinely helpful, kind and fun to hang with, even after hours! Having stayed at 5 star hotels, the kind of attention provided to us at 2Inn1 was even better than a Ritz Carlton. It is genuine here, Klaus and his team really helped us with trying to plan our multiple excursions, suggesting/booking our restaurant reservations and even driving us downtown. They never gave us the impression of being annoyed with our questions. We felt like members of their family. Who provides that service nowadays??? Our suite was really spacious and was beautifully decorated with tasteful, contemporary pieces of SA artwork. The bathroom/shower was a joy to be in, the toiletries were excellent, we really felt like royalty. Having travelled extensively, the generous breakfast spread which they offer (it's included in the bill) is by far one of the best you could hope to enjoy, they even make you omelettes upon request. There is no stuffiness at this establishment, just a wonderful feeling of relaxation and retreat in a beautiful establishment with a gorgeous view of Table Mountain. It was hard to leave this place. I guarantee you will remember 2Inn1 as an oasis, certainly not a hotel. I'm spreading the word to my friends/colleagues and will stay here again should the opportunity present itself hopefully in the near future. Bottom line, if you want to be treated like gold with service above and beyond that of a "premier" hote, look no further. You've found it at 2Inn1. Kindest regards, Mary S. - USA

Imagine a place where you can go and the hotel owner introduces himself and brings you wine and snacks as soon as you check in, makes all your reservations for you, selects the best restaurants in town and always gets you a reservation, and helps you every step of the way. That place exists. I have stayed in 5 star hotels all around the world and have never been shown the appreciation and attention that the staff here did. The lodging is beautiful and roomy and has everything anyone would need. I cannot say enough great things about these accomodations and the staff.

My wife and I visited Cape Town for the first time and decided to stay in a smaller boutique hotel rather than one of the large 5 star business hotels around the Waterfront. 2Inn1 Kensington has an amazing rating on Tripadvisor so we booked in for 9 nights because the reviews were unanimously fantasic. I don't really need to write any more because the other seventy odd reviews have said it all. This place truly is fantastic! Chris, Klaus, Steffi and all of the staff are superb. The breakfasts, sundowners, decor, service, location are all first rate. If, like us, you don't know where the best restaurants are in Cape Town, the 2Inn1 team will book you into the best places in town and organise taxis to take you from door to door. If you plan to visit Cape Town, you must try 2Inn1 Kensington, if you can get in, they were fully booked for the entire time that we were there.

On a very good and quiet location on the way to the table mountain, the 2inn1 is the first establishment in my experience that got the professionalism of a luxury hotel together with the warm and friendly atmosphere of a family business. The rooms and all the facilities are also modern and stylish as functional, and the staff and the management help you in a way that you feel at home from the first contact till after check out. The breakfast is a good place to get helpful recommendations for your day and evening as well as a tasty start of the day.

We travelled to the 2inn1 kensington as our first guesthouse on our 18day stay South Africa. The guest house was easy to find and is positioned beautifully on the slopes of Table Mountain and with a view of Lion's Head. We were greeted on the doorstep as we drove up outside. On arrival we were offered tea and discussed our plans Steffie organised our afternoon at the V&A waterfront and then evening food at Baia (which serves amazing shellfish).
Klaus, Chris, Steffi, Kerstin and thw whole team were so inviting and friendly. Our room a standard room in the new portion of the house, with a beautiful bathroom with large 2 person shower and underfloor heating. Turndowns and little somethings were an added touch as were the use of a mobile - which came in handy for our communication with my best friend a South African getting married that week. Breakfast is taken in the main house and was lovely with a full buffet of continental hams, cheeses, yogurts and fruit and cooked as requested. We only spent 2 nights here but we loved every moment and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a guesthouse in Cape Town.
