Tasha's in Constantia Village is definitely a worthwhile stop for breakfast or lunch. It is bright and airy with indoor and outdoor seating. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is very good and reasonably priced. Try their waffles for a breakfast treat, or choose from a selection of omelets. For lunch there are very nice fresh salads or more hearty soups and hot entrees. Feel free to pass some time there or have a quick meal.

The staff are always ready to serve and help you out. I have eaten various items of their menu, from breakfast to lunch and afternoon tea. The foreign manageress (blonde lady- I have completely forgotten her name) is always happy to help and always comes and checks if everything is ok. The meals are always fresh, coffee is always great and the waitrons always smiling. I would strongly recommend this place to all visitors. Sat morning can be pretty busy, so be prepared for a 15min wait- but you can potter in the shops whilst you wait, so shouldn't be a problem at all.

Lots of parking at Constantia mall. Inside and outside seating. Great service and fresh fresh salads. Craig the owner is on hands and makes sure everything runs like clockwork. At lunchtime they have a waiting list we waited about 10 minutes. Was worth the wait.

Firstly I must confess that I always looked at this hip, Famous Brands owned franchise as a bit of a rip off. I have breakfasf at the one in Morningside (OK) but this week was first for dinner while waiting for the family to arrive for a weeks break in Cape Town and beyond. The venue is nice and the menu is cosmopolitan chic. I was in the mood for a steak with a tabouleh salad on the side. Tabouleh is a lebanese classic and this one came with some nice fried haloumi on top. The salad itself must have come straight from a container. Tires, tasteless and without the oliveoil and lemonjuice infusion that is essential to this. I had to add salt/peper and dressing (!) to get any taste of note and finished only 1/4 of the giant serving. The glass of Kanu Shiraz was also tired and the bottle was not opened th

We were in the Constantia area and needed a place to stop and have lunch. Between the Melissa's and Tasha's we decided to try Tasha's. None of us had eaten there before so was exciting to try something new. We didn't wait longer than five minutes for a table and management was kind and friendly on arrival. Service was quick but staff were not very open to talking or didn't know the menu very well in terms of options etc. We all three had different salads, nice that you could choose a half portion or full portion. However the Caesar salad was bland with more leaves than any other filling. The steak salad was more rare than medium which was asked for, and when asked for salt and pepper it never arrived. So overall the restaurant it beautifully decorated and in a great area- however they need work on service and small techniques on their food!
