It is a beautiful restaurant and great service. Food, although expensive, very well prepared. Outstanding and attentive waiters. Great wine selection. Would have like a wider variety of warm vegetarian dishes as we were limited to pasta and tomato sauce or French onion soup. But the carnivores in the family had an amazing dinner!

After walking out of another restaurant because of shocking service and rubbish food, my partner and I were starving and decided to try Tashas. We were pleasantly surprised. Service was fast, staff were friendly and food was delicious. Will definitely be coming back!

The reason this place is always full is because the service is attentive and quick, and the menu is hugely varied with something slightly unusual to tempt the palate. Even the standard breakfast (which is what I had for a change) was well presented and tasty, with a generous side helping of ciabbata. It's a pleasure to visit a consistently well run upmarket eatery like this in the southern suburbs.

The service was helpful and friendly. The bean stew was really good but my quisedilla had really very little chicken in it. We asked for a large bottle of sparkling water (without checking the price on the menu - our mistake) and were charged R57 ! Bit of a rip off!

Our son and daughter took us out for an early Mothers' Day treat.

Tashas was buzzing inside (too cold for sitting outside) with not many tables available. Service was good, although we did need to look around for our waiter on occasion. Two of us ordered the pulled lamb shepherd's pie which was superb (takes 20 mins to prepare). The quesadilla was unfortunately a bit bland, but enjoyable nonetheless. There are a variety of desserts on display and all of our choices were good. The absence of a dessert menu is always a good sign for me as the choices can change from time to time with new and innovative desserts. Ended the meal with a good cup of coffee.

I would recommend Tashas
