Had an excellent dinner there last night. A friendly and relaxed atmosphere was just what we needed. The food offering was so broad it was difficult to choose but after selection, we were happy with what we chose. Highly recommended for a relaxed, chilled evening out? Go there!

I went to this tapas bar and really enjoyed the food there, we ordered several plates and enjoyed every one of them. Especially recommend the Greek salad there, but all the rest was also good. They have a wide range of wine as well.

The Tapas Bar is a great restaurant, the food is delicious (especially the pasta with meat balls... I've been trying to get the same recipe ever since) and the ambiance, people and music is great.
We were in Hermanus for two days during our honey moon and we dined there twice cause when you find a good place you don't let go of it.
Enjoy this great place.

We stopped in here for a quick snack in the early evening before our dinner reservation at a nearby restaurant. 4 of us split an order of the jalapeno poppers....the order normally comes with 3 but our waitron said he would just charge us for one extra....and an order of nachos. The jalapeno poppers were the biggest I'd ever seen! Not sure how they managed to stuff them that full of cheddar and cream cheese but they did and they were delish! We also split an order of nachos. Whilst definitely not what we are used to in the US as far as nachos go, they were great! Flour tortilla chips instead of corn and the topping included some sort of creamy garlic dressing (sounds weird on nachos but oddly enough, it worked), bacon, jalapenos, and cheese. Guacamole, Sour Cream and what they called "salsa" (which was really just some chopped up tomato) were served on the side. We shared a nice bottle of white wine (Iona?) to go with our snacks and between the service, food, wine and warm fire, it was awesome! We even ended up going back the next day for lunch since several places we had wanted to try were not open for lunch or open on Sundays period and others had no parking and still another our GPS could not locate. My husband and I had the Matador Burger and there were two HUGE pieces of bacon on it as well as a nice portion of brie and a dollop of guacamole. YUM! Other than the chips being a little on the cool side, it was another good meal and we got to sit next to the fire place again as an added bonus!
