It's always good to see an excellent spread of locals in a premier tourist resort. Even with a freezing evening, you're welcomed by a roaring fire and gas heaters spread generously around. The food was excellent, extraordinarily we'll priced, generous portions and YUM. I had the platter for one, could easily be shared. I'd have been happy to pay more. We'll done, love the concept and the hands on attitude of staff.

We went to Freshline Fisheries based on Trip Advisor's recommendation. The setting is fun and casual, the meal was tasty and very reasonably priced. We didn't realise that they don't serve any alcohol else we would have brought our own. We will definitely go there again when in the area.

Being local residents we thoroughly enjoy going there at least once a week, weather permitting. The fish is always fresh and cooked to perfection. Our favorite is Gurnard, either grilled or braaied, both delicious. We have also enjoyed some of the previous specials like seared tuna which was to die for but not always available as well as the seafood curry pot made with Ron's original Durban curry recipe...Yummy! With the cooler weather upon us we are looking forward to having the seafood chowder which we heard today is back on the specials list, can't wait for our next visit.

This is a must go when in Knysna or the vicinity. It is a very genuine restaurant and if you want to taste great fish, including the authentic braai cooking, you are in for a treat. The place is also very cool and original!
