I stayed here recently and had a pleasant experience. Friendly staff and nicely appointed rooms. Very homely and they offer a nice breakfast before your start. The views of Knysna lagoon are breathtaking. If dinner is required they are very accommodating. They have Wifi but the signal is weak in the rooms so you will have to sit in the lounge for a strong signal.
Bradach Manor is an ideal base for touring the areas.

Had an excellent stay! Great atmosphere. Also a beautiful view of the lagoon from our room. Wow...

Only thing that lacked is a door between the bedroom and the bathroom. Now there was a curtain, we really didnt understand this.

Situated in a pituresque area known as Paradise in Knysna, Bradach Manor is a fine choice for accommodation! The service is excellent, the few problems we had while there were fixed quickly, and with a smile. Breakfast is DELICIOUS! Not one let down, and who can complain about looking out over the lagoon while eating a fabulous meal. We had the Lagoon facing room and it was great, only prob for us was wifi reception does not reach down there, which sucked a bit, but I guess, its only short times you need it when you are in a place like Knysna, so not a train smash.
Our time was short, but we would definitely return.

Room Tip: Lagoon facing was a stunner!

Very nice place to stay, we felt really welcome. The staff is super friendly. Breakfast is extensive with all fresh products and if you ask them to wrap something for on the way it's no problem at all! Rooms are nice and clean, ask for a room with a view on the lagoon! And they do wash your car, for free....which makes the tip a lot more of course!

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view on the lagoon. I think there's only 1 room with no view at all (when...

Amazing view from the (breakfast)room, nice breakfast, helpful staff, the room was enormous (cool shower and bathroom!)... there's only one thing we didn't like and it was the cold. Outside it was about 10°C and it felt so cold inside. Luckily they had a heating (sort of) but it took long before the big room was warmed.
We enjoyed our stay here!

We had two nights in the Bradach Manor in late June 2012 - the very tail end of the season in South Africa.

Our first impressions were very good. We were offered a very large room with a canopy bed and a truly magnificent view of Knysner Bay. To our surprise - if not alarm when we had returned in the evening all the staff had gone home and we were left with a mobile number to call in 'emergencies' We were completely alone in an empty hotel (the Shining?). Mind you the hotel staff were very trusting - they had no evidence who we were - no passport check, no credit card swipe, and no request of upfront payment and the bar was unlocked!!! We had literally walked in off the street and could have walked out the next morning with a lot more than we came with.

While the rooms were nice we did have a major problem - warmth. The room we had a huge french window that was single-glazed. Nysner is cold in June in the evening and the only heating in the room was a 800w halogen lamp (i.e. useless ). With the large glass area of the doors and the lack of heating room was bitterly cold all night. The following night the staff moved us to a room with proper heating which was much better but we were still alone in the hotel through the night and none of the very pleasant public areas were heated either so we were confined to our bedroom.

All in all it was an odd experience to spend two nights in a what amounted to a 'closed hotel'

Let me start with the only negative that I noticed. The wine in this hotel are badly cellared and I had to return two of them. I suggest you bring your own wine. This apart this hotel is such a delight. Serene, noiseless, green, friendly and a magnificent view of the Estuary (all the way to the sea) is how I would describe this hotel. Though listed under B&B, I think this could seriously put a lot of hotels to shame.
The rooms are tasteful, rich, comfortable and spacious. Since we were a large group, I had the pleasure of visiting various rooms. The room ‘Garden’ is the best and it is in the lower level. Some of the rooms have large balconies offering breathtaking views . Among the various facilities are library, coffee/tea maker, room heater, locker, TV, Lounge, Pool Table, Table, Restaurant, bar, pool, Jaccuzi, fire place, free Internet etc. The staff are friendly and helpful. House keeping needs to step up. They don’t replace all the used items in the Bath but bring them to you quickly on request. Laundry is quick and reasonably priced.
This is a homely place in a lovely spot in the hills on the water front, and is capable of bring its guests many sweet pleasures.

Room Tip: The best room is 'Garden' in the lower level. The one I might not go for is the room 'l...
