The Wild Rose Country Lodge is a colonial style thatched roof building with large tastefully decorated sitting and dining rooms. This is a perfectly relaxed family-run hotel, perched on a hillside looking towards the sea . From our bedroom terrace we watched the sun setting over the ocean. If you want a peaceful retreat within easy reach of downtown Cape Town you couldn't do better.

We enjoyed our stay at Wild Rose Country Lodge very much!!! It's a very nice Lodge, very quiet (also at night; we slept like in heaven!!). Unfortunately it's a little bit away from everything. You need to have a car.....but anyway, the Lodge itself was perfect!! And if you have any questions, need help, want to eat out somewhere just ask Frank. He will help und organize all for you. That was great and we were very happy about it. Thank you very much Frank!!!

Our last minute stopover turned out to be a 4 night stay. The staff pulled out all the stops for us. A warm welcome, & immediately made to feel at ease. Nothing is too much for the hosts to provide - they really are hospitable.

Beds & rooms are super comfy, with bathroom amenities, towels, hairdryer, fully bar fridge & coffee / tea tray, and WiFi provided throughout.

Breakfast (included) comprises hot & cold buffet & you certainly won't go hungry.

Magnificent views of the mountains, sea, Noordhoek wetlands, & a beautiful, large garden.

We made use of the swimming pool & jacuzzi which are an absolute pleasure (jacuzzi is @ extra charge, but inexpensive).

Overall, we were made to feel very welcome & were pleasantly surprised throughout.

Ideal for singles, couples, groups of friends / families (can accommodate up to 14 guests privately), conferencing and meetings.

Excellent restaurants are within easy reach / short drive away.

I'd recommend 2 nights minimum.

Room Tip: The property is a guesthouse, so not self-catering, but they would most likely assist should you nee...

My wife and I spent the weekend to celebrate her birthday. This was the second birthday in a row that we chose to spend at the Wild Rose Lodge. It was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay. I can definitely recommend this place to anyone who is seeking a quite and relaxed weekend in the secluded Noordhoek area. If you are looking for a bit of entertainment, Muzienberg / Kalk Bay are just a few minutes away offering a decent night life with bars, pubs and other events.
