“A gem B&B”
Reviewed 21 March 2014

Travelling with my cousin on our way back from the coast to Orkney, she told us Roxy was from our home town of Kirkcaldy so I was very keen to visit the Celtic Bushman. Roxy was so welcoming and friendly it was so relaxing and a real home from home. The accommodation was absolutely spotless and I wasn't surprised when Roxy said she did it all herself. I noticed the 2 star rating for the B&B but the breakfasts are definitely 5* . Looking forward to our next visit.

We stayed here in 2013 and liked it so much we came back again in 2014. It was good to see Roxanna and the dogs again. As before we got good advice on restaurants and places to visit and it was good to be able to cool off in the pool.

This was an incredible place to stay. Roxanna was a fantastic hostess. The room was lovely, she had loads of advice on good places to eat, the pool was wonderful and the breakfast was incredible. Can't recommend this place highly enough.

We stayed here for 2 nights, Roxana was very helpful advising trips and restaurants and her breakfasts were great. Enjoyed the swimming pool and made great friends with the dogs.
Also it was great being so convenient to restaurants. The best place we have stayed in Oudtshoorn.

We had a stunning stay at Celtic...Our host Roxanna is full of laughs! As soon as we arrived we were offered refreshing welcome drinks after a dusty trip through the Cango caves...We took a dip in the pool and were so refreshed. Wasn't too impressed with the service at the local restaurants - many came across quite pretentious, but the service at Celtic Bushamann makes you want to return to Oudtshoorn! Fantastic, hosts, rooms, pool, BREAKFAST (YUM) ...

We will definitely recommend to anyone staying over in Oudtshoorn!

Stayed here two nights during a local arts and music festival. Everything was booked out for the weekend and we needed a lot of assistance as all publications were in Africaans.
Our host, Roxanna was wonderful in this regard and every suggestion she made for restaurants, places to go etc. was perfect.
Rooms were spacious and very clean - off street parking was available and the grounds were immaculate. Unfortunately it was too cool for a swim however the pool looked clean and inviting. Very much recommended!

Stayed here for only one night during our trip through South-Africa in march/april 2012, but we would have loved to stay longer!
Very friendly welcome and hospitality, both by hostess and her dogs!
Roxana is a perfect hostess: she explained all the essentials to know about Oudtshoorn , including the places to visit and the restaurants to go for dinner in her welcoming chat, over a drink or refreshment.
Nice rooms with sitting area and bedroom separate, and with en suite bathroom.
The breakfast is a must-have! It will keep you going for the rest of the day; no need for lunch on departure-day!
