The guide we had on our visit was so enthusiastic and obviously had a great affinity with the birds. He was so well informed and explained everything with such enthusiasm the whole group couldn't help but be interested in all he had to show and tell. Unfortunately I cannot remember his name but we were the last group of the day, even the shop closed but he carried on with our tour. Our visit was on Tuesday 1st April at 4.00 and we had to leave the group at 5.45 to travel on to our night`s accommodation!!! We got to feed the parent birds, hold the babies that were a day old, hold an egg which was ready to hatch, sit on an ostrich, even take part in a race if we wanted, we did watch a race between some of the staff holding on for dear life!! We had a demonstration of how the feather dusters are made and a shopping opportunity before the staff went home and we continued with our visit thanks to our guide. A great experience.
