“Superb as always”
Reviewed 5 November 2013 via mobile

This is my 4th stay at Lemoenkloof and was as in past visits a very relaxed and comfortable base while travelling around the Western Cape.
All the staff were very friendly and helpful. One of our party left behind something in his room, and we received a call to let us know within a couple of hours of our departure.
Breakfasts were excellent and available at an earlier time than normal if you needed to leave earlier in the morning.
My room (13 I think) had been recently refurbished and was very nice with an amazing walkin shower.
Would highly recommend you give a try if you are in the area.

The Lemoenkloof Guest House in Historical Paarl (also known as the PEARL OF THE WESTERN CAPE) is NOT a dime a dozen hospitality venture.

It is however the real South African deal! It oozes old world charm, warmth and touches of class to amaze! The full English breakfast will feast all your cullinary senses.

Treat yourself and ENJOY!!!!

Room Tip: All the rooms are great. We stayed in room 27 which had a lovely swimming pool.

Our stay was a really good experience all round. Everybody we came in contact with was helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We felt welcome and comfortable as soon as we stepped inside the Lemoenkloof. Our room was spacious and spotless with a beautiful bowl of freshly picked roses, and there were fresh flowers throughout the hotel. The decor was tasteful and interesting with some wonderful prints and paintings on the walls. We spent a relaxing time in the beautiful gardens sitting in comfortable chairs. If any of the staff passed by there was always the offer of some tea or a cold drink. They really have got the hospitality formula just right and I would highly recommend it without reservation to anyone.

Room Tip: If you want a spacious room overlooking the garden Room 50 is the one for you.

Five star accommodation at three star price!! Value for money. Make use of the facility for business as well as for family purposes. Luxury rooms - spacious - beautiful interior - same standards as at home!! Building a personal relationship with the business!! Enjoying breakfast with the owner - he is there to oversee that you're personal needs are met.

Personal, friendly excellent service that is not in your face. Enough space in the rooms that served my need as traveler. Breakfast is great. Parking a slight problem but on the other hand - i was not on a parking trip but needed a good nights rest after a long business day. You not need to look any further for a perfect stay.

A beautiful historic building on the outside and modernly refurbished on the inside. Stayed with a group of 10 and everybody loved it. Food was good and plentiful and the surroundings charming. Staff were friendly & helpful.

The building looks like a historical building but the rooms have very modern facilities which makes it both interesting and confortable. The People are very friendly and always treat you in a personal way.
Paarl is a very nice place to visit and offers historical significance as well as a superb wine region.
