“Good food”

La LOMA Mexican Grille

This place has pretty good food for a little strip mall place. Good varied menu. Interior has really nice traditional decor in a bright and light filled space. The biggest drawback is the flimsy plastic silverware. I could not cut my food and had to pull it apart using fork and fingers

This mexican restaraunt was nothing to write home about. They had decent food, but it isn't worth going back for. And it's too bad, because they are right across the street from the Wigwam Resort. I hope they get their act together, because they could be so much more than they were.

The restaurant is located across from The Wig Wam Resort.
There are two buildings, and a patio inbetween. I was confused when we were seated in the building on the right which was an Irish pub complete with Irish music but a Mexican menu hmmmmm. The food was decent portions were large. I think they are in the process of remodeling. Give it a try

Really good authentic Mexican food and that is why you would come here. Friendly greeting and you grab a menu from the counter and sit and then go back up to counter to order. Everything here is done on the cheap with plastic plates and tableware but it doesn't matter. Beans are wonderful. Food may be a little pricey for the atmosphere and extra sides of guacamole and sour cream are definitely overpriced but we were looking for an authentic Mexican place in the area and this fit the bill. Would go back again.

A holiday tradition for us in the Southwest is having tamales during Christmas. If you don't make your own tamales, La Loma is the place to go to get yours. La Loma offers two different kinds, red or green, and the red are absolutely off the charts. They are big and they are filling. Big and filling is good because you can cut them in half and serve twice as many. The tamales have to be preordered, and when you pick them up they are hot hot hot. A dozen is 22 plus tax. I am always looking for a value and I have found this to be value and getting my holiday tamales from La Loma will be an annual tradition.
