VegTable is starting to generate a lot of buzz around South Africa, and it's no surprise. Brett is a phenomenal chef. For a vegetarian, this will be a meal you'll always remember--a chance to indulge in four delectable courses that celebrate all that vegetables and farm-to-table cuisine has to offer. For meat eaters, you'll be shocked that a vegetarian meal can be so incredibly rich and satisfying. In addition to the top-notch, creative cuisine, the meal is a dining experience in and of itself. We arrived early to watch Brett and his friend prepare our meal, and the light rain falling on the tin roof combined with the candlelight made for a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. The meal itself took about three hours from the time we arrived, which we enjoyed immensely because it's so rare to have the opportunity to truly savor and delight in the experience of eating a personally prepared meal. Overall, VegTable was an experience and a meal that we will remember for a very long time. If we didn't live halfway around the world from Brett's kitchen, we would be there every week, without a doubt.
