Just off a busy street, these gardens offer peace & quiet.
We popped in with a good cup of coffee, sat on a bench and relaxed.

A superbly maintained plant collection with a delightful tea garden, bonsai collection and nursery with book shop. Not widely publicized, we happened across this garden by chance. The water lily collection was a particular highlight and even if you are not a plant fundi, the gardens make for a lovely walk and a place to enjoy a bite out in a tranquility of a beautiful setting. Highly recommended!

This is a lovely interesting and peaceful way to spend a few hours . With a wide range of different plants that are obviously well looked after . Our particular favourite was the water Lilly pond . After enjoying the gardens a must is the Garden Café with some delicious house Red wines and my particular favourite the Roast Pear and Walnut salad. Can highly recommend this as part of any visit to Stellenbosch. .It is only a 5 minute walk from the centre .
