Many people write reviews of the "sansibar" at Asara - of course its a beautiful location - good service...they are right,
but outstanding was the unique "wine tasting with mini-burgers" - we had there.

Choose your selection of Miniburgers (surprising what you can do with a burger ...caviar..for example) - and the wine will accompany your choice - great!
with 135 pp its not cheap (85 burgers and 50 for the wine tasting) but we would go there again! (maybe this time we will share the burgers - its a full meal)

Lovely indoor restaurant along with a covered outside terrace. Stunning views of the vineyards. Quite opulent decor. Nice for a special occasion. Fresh fish on the menu along with meats etc. the raspberry soufflé is a must. Staff a little shy but also attentive. Nice place

Had a business lunch/meeting arranged at very short notice in the Chef's Table room, fantastic service, food with a beautiful view over the vineyards and mountains!

The best thing about Asara Bistro is the setting. With the Lake right next to you and the vineyards just past the lake, it really is a nice place to sit outside and relax with some food and drinks. The interior is done really well and really creates a lovely ambience. We were very impressed with the food and were really happy with the price of wines. It was quiet when we there so the service was excellent. I recommend it for dinner and drinks! It could do with some nice background music though to liven the atmosphere up a bit.....that's probably the only bad point is that it was extremely quiet!
