We had a three course set menu. Great starter - a green salmon salad which was perfect for a summer's day, and generous portions of confit duck and braised shoulder of lamb. Rounded off with a lovely panacotta poached with pear. The wines of the Knorhoek Estate are on the menu. Try the Knorhoek Pantère 2012 on the menu for a generous fee. Service is personal but not invading. Value for money! Will most certainly recommend to friends and will be back!

Had a delicious meal from start to finish. Generous helpings, the prawn starter could have been a main meal! and the braised shoulder of lamb was as tender as could be, the apple and cherry crumble was very delicious. The cheese board had such a selection and worth going just for that! The wine prices were also very reasonable and after our meal bought some of their wine. We will definitely visit again.

The restaurant is very charming with the eclectic mix of cutlery and seating.

The food we were served was excellent - succulent beef, delicious salads and a superb dessert tart.

The gardens are beautiful for lazy afternoons

It's a bit off the beaten path - at the end of the Knorhoek road, but it is most definitely worth a visit

This beautiful gem is bit off of the beaten track but it is well worth the effort. The setting is beautiful, the menu is small but interesting and the food is spectacular. The only drawback was no espresso coffee

We had lunch there a few days ago with friends (six of us) as part of a Groupon deal (now defunct). Apart from a snag with our Groupon vouchers which was badly handled by inexperienced management, we all had a very enjoyable lunch. The setting is relaxing under great oak trees, the service was friendly and efficient, and the food was generous and delicious. And well-priced to boot. The sav blanc was good and reasonable. We will certainly be revisiting with our family. Give them a try....
